It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
Scoot McNairy, Calvan Mulley and Jena Malone are part of the cast.

The idea of Jena Malone as Robin sounds actually appealing.

The more I watch the trailer for this movie and see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex, the more I think I'm not going to like his version. He may do a good job as a villain, but the little I have seen is not how I picture Lex Luthor acting. It just seems like Jesse Eisenberg pretending to be Lex Luthor. I want him to make me believe!!! Other than that, I have no issue with anything I have seen about this movie so far.

I think there'll be a switch in personally for him in the movie, e.g. before and after he "loses" his hair.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice currently has a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Am I the only one who thought this movie was going to be terrible? I imagine Suicide Squad is going to be even worse.

I thought that the minute I saw Wonder Woman in the movie. Then I saw Doomsday in the trailer and it was all over. Sad that suicide squad will probably follow suit cause I actually wanted to see that one.

How about everyone slow your roll and go see the movie and then you can all be "Internet Guy". And it seems like the fans that have seen the film like it a lot. Even on Rotten Tomatoes it's 77% Audience score.

I'll probably see it this weekend. If I think it sucks, I'll say so. If I like it, I'll say so. But, damn, it's hip to be a hater.

The main thing I am worried about in this film is Jesse Eisenberg playing Lex. He is a terrible actor and his characterization that I saw in the trailer looks terrible. I think Affleck is going to be a kick ass Batman. So, I'll just wait and see. But the trailers look great to me.

Audience scores are almost always higher than critic scores, and usually significantly so on poorly rated films immediately following release.

That's neither here nor there though. There's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying poorly reviewed movies. Transformers has an 86% audience score, and Bad Boys has an 86% audience score. Mainstream cinema goers enjoy action blockbusters, and even moreso when they are comic book related.

That all being said, I will shamelessly hate on Batman V Superman without watching it first. I thought the trailer was garbage. I think Zack Snyder is garbage. I think the last two Superman movies were garbage. I can count on one hand the number of films that have scored under a 30% on RT and under 45% on MetaCritic that I enjoyed. I do not have time to go see every movie in theaters, so I will heed the critics warnings and not waste any resources on this until I can download it for free.

:soapbox:

Where is the soapbox emoji? You can't tell me 15 Shows has been posting here for 10 years and you guys don't have a soapbox emoji.

Jesse Eisenberg is a phenomenal actor. He just has no business playing Lex Luthor.

So, did anyone actually see this movie yet?

While the opinion of film critics means jackshit to Purps, keep in mind that they watch like 150-250 new films per year as part of their jobs. If they like it, they will admit it and viceversa. You can agree or disagree with them depending on your views. But when several people aren't favoring the film, there might be something wrong with it.

Personally, I might use a discount ticket for this in like 1-2 weeks. I like Batman (the character) , but the trailers and Zack Snyder are a major turnoff for me. I didn't hate Man Of Steel, but Sucker Punch was pretty awfully boring. And while Watchmen was watchable due to its source material, it would have been much better off without him in the director's seat.
