Imagine that Extreme Championship Wrestling was never bought out by Vince McMahon in 2001. It is an unknown year in a mysterious world, where all professional wrestlers are at the peaks of their careers. Welcome to ECW like you've never seen it before!

Segment #1:

Terry Funk, General Manager of ECW, comes out to the ring and announces that every ECW championship will be defended on tonight's show. Up first will be the ECW World Tag Team Championships!

Match #1:

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy (Team Xtreme) successfully defend the ECW World Tag Team Championships against Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson (The Young Bucks). The finish sees Jeff Hardy nailing his signature Swanton Bomb on young Nick Jackson.

PAC defeats Super Crazy with a corkscrew shooting star press.

Jimmy Jacobs, with Lacey at his side, challenges "The Monster" Abyss to a hardcore match. Jacobs says that he is in ECW to prove that he is the "sickest" individual in all of pro wrestling, and by beating Abyss, he will prove just that. These comments bring out Abyss.

Match #3:

Abyss defeats Jimmy Jacobs with the Black Hole Slam through a table in a hardcore match. Lacey tries attacking Abyss after the match, but she receives a Black Hole Slam from "The Monster," too.

Segment #3:

In a short backstage promo, Dean Malenko calls himself the hardest-working man in ECW. Malenko says that he will prove that hard work pays off when he successfully defends his ECW Television Championship against Fit Finlay next.

Match #4:

Fit Finlay defeats Dean Malenko with the Celtic Cross to become the new ECW World Television Champion. Finlay attacked Malenko as he was making his way down the entrance ramp. Despite showing some signs of life late in the match, Dean Malenko ultimately was never able to recover from the pre-match assault.

Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeats Jushin "Thunder" Liger in a two out of three falls match. Liger won the first fall with a shooting star press, but Mysterio came back to win the final two falls with a la magistral cradle and the West Coast Pop respectively.

Segment #4:

General Manager of ECW, Terry Funk, formally introduces the two men fighting for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on tonight's show -- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, the defending champion, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, the challenger, to the ring.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin succesfully defends the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against "Rowdy" Roddy Piper with his patented Stone Cold Stunner.

Segment #5:

As Steve Austin is celebrating inside of the ring following the match, the lights go out. Sabu then appears and signals for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship around his waist.
