My Curse by Killswitch Engage plays through the loudspeakers as the camera pans around a packed New York crowd. The crowd is roaring in anticipation as Gorilla Monsoon says "I'm Gorrila Monsoon, welcome to Dragon Gate USA!!" The fans go crazy and then Eric Bischoff's theme plays. He walks to the ring with a smug look on his face as he gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, mostly cheers. There's something in the ring but it's covered by a red cloth. Once in the ring and after the fans quiet down a bit he exlaims "I'm back!" and the fans once again go crazy. "It's about time we shake things up in the wrestling world isn't it!?" he panders to the crowd, a big smile on his face. "Prepare yourselves for something truly special. Prepare yourselves for something you never could've even dreamed of! Prepare yourselves for DRAGON GATE USA!" The crowd cheers yet again. Matt Striker: The energy is insane in this jampacked arena! Gorilla Monsoon: Well of course it is. This is history in the making! Eric Bischoff: With painstaking time, effort, and money, I've been able to assemble really, the greatest roster of all time. Now we've yet to name our Open the Twin Gate Championship, that for those who don't know is our Tag Team Championship. I've decided it would be much more fun to let our excellent Tag Team division figure that out for themselves. However I'm pleased to announce to you firstly our Open The Brave Gate Champion as, Dolph Ziggler! The crowd cheers in approvement. Haha I knew you'd like that! Next up is our Open the Rose Gate Champion! Now I know you're going to like this one. Who wouldn't? Trish Stratus! The crowd roars in applause! Matt Striker: Now there's 100% Stratusfaction! Gorilla Monsoon: You're damn right Striker! Of course I've saved the best for last. He looks at the covered object in the ring with him, smiles and says Ladies and gentleman, I bring to you not only the Open the Dream Gate Champion, but one of my best personal friends. Bishoff extends his arm to the stage, after a brief pause, Hulk Hogans theme music plays as he comes out to a monumental reaction. Monsoon: It's Hogan!! Hogan walks to the ring, as charasmatic as ever, He gets in the ring and does his typical shtick as the arena is almost deafening. Hogan: Brother! It's great to be back in New York City! Hogan gets a loud pop from the New York Crowd. Hogan: Let me tell ya something, it's good to be back! And trust me brother, this time will be better than ever before. That's a promise brother! Bichoff: I'm sure it will be. Hogan, it's damn good to have you back. This is where you belong and I know more than anyone else, you deserve this. Bichoff uncoverx the red cloth from the object in the ring unveling it to be the Open the Dream Gate Championship.  Hogan: It's beautiful Brother, and I plan to do you all proud by, Just then Hogan is interupted when The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Micheals music hits the loudspeakers. HBK comes out and the crowd goes insane. HBK: Hold it hold it hold it! You think you can come here and just be handed the title? Not while the Heartbreak Kid is still standing! Hogan is about to respond but Bischoff speaks before him. Bishoff: Michaels, it's already done. The contract has already been signed. The crowd boos. Bishoff: Now now, if you really think you can beat Hogan for the title, what better night to make history than tonight? The crowd loses it as Michales nods in approval. Bischoff: Then it's settled! Tonight in our main event it'll be The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels vs The Immortal, Hulk Hogan for the Open the Dream Gate Championship!! The crowd roars yet again. Gorilla Monsoon: This is HUGE! Matt Striker: What? The scene fades to black as a commercial plays. First match The British Bulldogs vs AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels Great match here to start the action with. The crowd is electric throughout. It's very back and forth, quickly paced and techincal. Eventually all four men are brawling in the ring until Daniels uses his body as a battering ram and send himself along with The Dynamtite Kid crashing to the floor below. AJ Styles and Davey Boy are the legal men in the ring, Davey Boy is about to hit the running powerslam but AJ escapes and dropkicks him into the corner turnbuckle. He then sets up and delivers the Styles Clash and gets the win. Winner: AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels The crowd is pleased as Styles and Daniels motion the tag team titles around their waists. Matt Striker: That's how we do it in Dragon Gate USA! Armando Alejandro Estrada comes out to a mixed response. He introduces himself as well as Umaga who enters the ring after him. Estrada claims that The Samoan Bulldozer has been undefeated for some time and no one can stop him. He challenges anyone backstage to try and defeat his beast. The Open the Brave Gate Champion Dolph Ziggler comes out with AJ Lee, they both have a confident look on their face. Second Match - Umaga Vs Dolph Ziggler with AJ Lee Dolph is able to get off to a good start by surprising Umaga just as the bell rings, he's able to keep Umaga down enough so his offense is limited. This lasts until Dolph is about to hit a downed Umaga with a running knee drop, but Estrada grabs his leg from the outside. This infuriates AJ Lee who chases off Estrada off, the distraction however gives Umaga enough time to get up. He headbutts Ziggler and power whips him into the corner, then delivers a vicious Samoan Wrecking Ball. He lifts up the lifeless Ziggler and nails him with the Samoan Spike for the win. Winner: Umaga Monsoon: That was hard to watch. Estrada and Umaga look strong in the ring together, standing over Zigglers lifeless body as AJ looks distrautly into the ring. Screen fades to black and cuts to a commercial. Third Match - 2 Cold Scorpio vs Colt Cabana vs La Parka vs Psicosis This match starts off as fun competition, but soon La Parka and Psicosis get frusterated and decide to team up against Colt Cabana when 2 Cold is knocked out of the ring. They beat him up pretty bad and when 2 Cold gets into the ring they double team him as well. After both 2 Cold and Cabana are knocked out La Parka and Psicosis have a face off. They start attacking eachother and it's quite entertaining for the crowd, but it's cut short when The Giant shows up and demolishes everyone in the ring. He tosses them all out of the ring and looks very aggressive in the middle of the ring afterwards like he's out to prove something. Winner - No contest. Backstage segment with Renee Young Renee speaks with Aja Kong, who claims that the current Rose Gate Champion Trish Stratus is a joke and she should hold onto the title while she can, because she's coming for it. She aggressively presses the mic into Renee's chest before walking off. Match 4 - Aja Kong Vs Lita Aja comes out to an uproar of boos. She ignores the audience and steps into the ring. Lita comes out to a wicked response, the crowd loves her and she loves them back. She and Kong have a stare off before the bell rings. This match is fantastic, Kong dominates at first but midway through the match Lita is able to hit some great high risk moves. She spears Kong from the top rope but is only able to get a 2 count. This infuriates Kong, who then shows even more aggresion. Kong is then able to decimate Lita and finishes her with a sitout piledriver. Winner: Aja Kong The audience boos loudly though Kong looks unphazed as she walks to the back. Match 5 - MNM Vs The Road Warriors These two teams have great chemistry in the ring. Turns out to be a very fun match to watch. It looks like The Road Warriors will get the win with the doomsday device against Nitro, but Joey Mercury stops it just in time saving his partner, he's able to distract Hawk long enough for Nitro to hit the Nitro Blast and pick up the win. Melina is overjoyed as she celebrates in the ring with Nitro and Mercury Winners: MNM Camera cuts to backstage where Renee Young is standing with Petey Williams. Petey claims that he is the only real man in Dragon Gate USA and plans to prove it tonight. Match 6: Petey Williams vs Elijah Burke This match starts off with a test of strength between the two men, Petey comes out on top for the most part, he wrestles with cockyness and smiles as he puts Burke in a headlock. He taunts Burke and then the audience, but when he has his back turned Elijah swiftly goes for the Elijah Experience, Petey however just as swiftly ducks it and gives his a swift Canadian Destroyer for the win. Winner: Petey Williams Gorilla: Petey got lucky there! Striker: He sure did. You can see his sweat! Petey walks to the back and Elijah is just getting up when suddenly The Shiek comes running to the ring. The Sheik barades Burke with punches, when Burke is practially knocked out in the center of the ring, Shiek pulls out a pencil and starts jabbing it into Elijahs forehead! Monsoon: This is madness! Someone needs to stop this! Security comes and pries The Sheik off of Burke, they bring him to the back but struggle to do so the whole time. Elijah is left in the ring, blood dripping from the holes in his head. Screen cuts to black as a commercial about Dragon Gate USA Action figures plays. Camera fades to black as we take another break. Trish Stratus cuts a promo saying she's ready to take on any challenge at hand. She's excited for her in ring return next week. Main Event - Hulk Hogan Vs HBK This match is electric, the fans are so into it. It definitely has a big fight feel. Hogan strikes with power, the hits that land are huge, but Michaels is able to outspeed Hogan and begins to build momentum. HBK hit the elbow drop from the top rope but Hogan quickly gets up and starts smashing HBK. HBK reverse one of his attacks and they both start grappling. Just then Chris Jericho appears out of nowhere and attacks both Hogan and Michaels. He looks pissed. Jericho stands tall over Hogan and Shawn as the show ends. Fade to black |
