At the very least, Buggy had the look to be an alternative WWE Diva, like a modern Lita. If you don't find her stunning, then your hunger for penis is obvious.
Then again... I don't know if WWE is willing to have anything more than an Ashley Massaro-type (which seems very faked) for the last decade, so...
According to a source, Billy Gunn is the new head trainer in WWE developmental. Gunn will be replacing Bill DeMott, who was reportedly released, although that is not confirmed.
DeMott had been working as the head trainer in WWE developmental since last June, when he replaced Tom Prichard.
Baretta was signed to a developmental deal in 2008 and first appeared on the main roster of the company as one half of the Dudebusters with Caylen Croft.
After Croft was released from the company, Baretta moved into a low level singles run, most notably getting a surprise win over Drew McIntyre in 2011.
Baretta was forced out of the ring later that year with a torn biceps, leading to a "Where's Trent" joke online amongst WWE talents, including Zack Ryder's Youtube series. Even after he recovered, he was only used sparingly by WWE.
Baretta is already booked for Pro Wrestling Syndicate over Wrestlemania weekend in Metuchen, NJ, where he will be facing Sonjay Dutt. For more, visit www.ProWrestlingSyndicate.com.
I just read somewhere that Zack Ryder is supposedly on the chopping block, too.
Just as a follow-up:

As previously noted, WWE recently released Trent Barreta from his contract. Barreta made a name for himself while teaming with Caylen Croft as the Dudebusters. After Croft was released, he was mainly used as an enhancement talent, and spent most of the later part of this tenure in NXT. Current and former WWE superstars commented about his release:
- Edge: Disappointed to hear @trentylocks released. Über talented kid who'll land on his feet(he's agile)
- Zack Ryder: #wherestrent @trentylocks
- Tom Pritchard: @trentylocks and I have the same disease...It's called "cantkeepmymouthshut" that can be a detriment in more than one way...#nocure
- Dolph Ziggler: #WheresTRENT??? Oh right, being an awesome wrestler somewhere else....
I have absolutely no idea who this Trent guy is/was. Was he the guy that made all those backstage promos about coming to SD! but never came? You know the video/promos I'm talking about, right?

I believe you are thinking of Johnny Curtis.
Trent Baretta teamed with a guy named Caylen Croft on ECW and SmackDown as "The Dude Busters" for a little while. On SmackDown, he also had a brief feud with Drew McIntyre. Baretta was also on Superstars quite a bit and had some pretty fun matches. A great wrestler who was never really given the chance to shine in the WWE.
Eve Torres announced during an interview on WWE Active during tonight's episode of RAW that she was quitting the promotion. As noted earlier, PWInsider reported this morning that Torres was leaving the company.
I could have sworn I read the Eve thing in this thread already, but since I don't want to hunt it down, I'll just post this here where it's more appropriate.

WWE has reportedly released Brandon Carter from his developmental deal. The tattooed wrestler was known as TAC in NXT. He is a former NFL offensive lineman.

You are probably thinking about the news bit posted in this week's Raw thread.
Ah, that's it. Yeah, I thought it might be in there since I did skim it but I wasn't sure. And since my addition fit this topic better, I didn't bother checking.
PWInsider reports that WWE has released long-time referee Jack Doan. No further details were given as to why he was let go. Doan has been with the company since 1991, when he worked as a truck driver. He became a part time referee before eventually going full time
I knew we had one of these threads for WWE somewhere...

With WWE on the verge of signing new developmental talent to coincide with the launch of its Performance Center in Winter Park, Florida, multiple talents situated in the developmental system were released today. It has been confirmed that Derrick Bateman, Briley Pierce, Sakamoto, Percy Watson, Brandon Traven, Audrey Marie and Anya were let go by the sports-entertainment organization.
Bateman announced on his Twitter account that he is now available for independent bookings and then adding, "Welp see ya later @wwe @WWEUniverse #itsfine."
Pierce, who is the brother of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, stated on his account, "I guarantee that was the funniest and most entertaining "You're released" phone call in WWE history. Bye, everybody!"
Sakamoto thanked WWE on his account for doing business with him, writing, "#WWE #NXT my friend thank you for everything SAYONARA."
Traven remarked on the social networking website, "Staying positive on a bad day..not the end only the beginning...things in life happen for a reason..just had a good lunch with good people. Not the end of the book just the end of the chapter..my journey is far from over
Though Watson, Marie and Anya have yet to publicly address their standing with WWE, PWInsider.com states that all three individuals have been let go. Lending credibility to the report, their respective profiles have been removed from the official websites of WWE (WWE.com) and NXT Wrestling (FCWWrestling.info).
Bateman, who had been under contract to WWE since 2008, appeared on the final season of NXT before the program was transferred to Florida. He last appeared on WWE programming late last year, and had been making infrequent appearances for NXT.
Briley had been in WWE's developmental system since 2011, the highlight of which was a Florida Tag Team Championship reign with Brad Maddox. He was shifted to the role of backstage interviewer for NXT last June, though would still continue to compete. However, he lost the majority of his matches from that point on.
Sakamoto was paired with Tensai last year before being demoted to developmental in November. Having been trained by Taka Michinoku at his Kaientai Dojo wrestling school in Japan, he joined WWE's developmental system in 2011.
Traven competed for various Midwestern independent organizations as Brian Beaker before being signed to a developmental contract last year. He was originally trained by WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race in Missouri.
Watson, a former professional football player, joined WWE in 2009 and would frequently appear on NXT. At times, he appeared on the brink of joining the main roster, but ultimately did not.
Marie had been under contract to WWE since 2011 and was a fixture in the developmental system's women's division.
Anya is a 6'1" Russian kickboxer and martial artist WWE signed last summer. She was recently sidelined due to a broken arm.

Sounds like someone the Women-AHEM... I mean, Diva's Division could've used. I'm sure she wouldn't have been used correctly, but she sounds like one of the more unique and formidable women wrestlers to hit wwe in quite some time.
WWE personality Matt Striker announced his departure from the company via Twitter. "Was just informed by @WWE that my contract will not be renewed," Striker wrote. "I am now available for appearances, signings, seminars, and wrestling. Deep breath." Follow him online at Twitter.com/Matt_Striker_ [Thanks to Dot Net readers Jonjo Hedges and Shea Pilon]
Powell's POV: WWE has also announced that Striker's contract will not be renewed. You can read their "future endeavors" statement at WWE.com
And there goes possibly the best once full-time commentator WWE has had since Jim Ross in the late 90s.
But at least we still have Lawler! Who provides WWE with so much that they couldn't possibly get anywhere else, such as generic statements void of personality, shirts that look like Ed Hardy designed clothing for old women, and a reason for the medical team to keep their paddles warmed up. Boy oh boy.
As noted earlier, the profile for Memo Montenegro has been removed from the WWE NXT roster page. I can now confirm that Montenegro was released earlier this month. Montenegro is the younger brother of World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. In a strange coincidence, Dolph Ziggler's brother, Briley Pierce, was released from NXT in May while Ziggler was World Champion.
As noted yesterday, the profile for Garrett Dylan was removed from the WWE NXT roster page. I can confirm that he was released last week. Dylan, whose real name is Jody Kristofferson, is the son of Hollywood actor Kris Kristofferson.
Ted Dibiase Jr. announced in the video above that he has decided not to re-sign and renew his contract with WWE. Dibiase said that the decision was personal, and that he wanted to pursue being a father and other opportunities.
Dibiase said that he has had "amazing life experiences" with WWE, and noted that he will miss the company and the fans. He stated that this is not necessarily permanent, but that this was something he needed to do right now.

As noted earlier, Ted Dibiase revealed that he decided not to re-sign with WWE and renew his contract. I recently interviewed his father, WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. During the interview, which will be published in its entirety this week, Dibiase discussed his frustration with his son's status in WWE.
"Ted Jr. [initially] went there and did very well," Dibiase said. "Shot out of the cannon , did a movie and did the whole thing with him and [Randy] Orton and Cody Rhodes. It's kind of like everything seemed to go cold. That's kind of a mystery. He's also had a couple of injuries, but when you talked to the boys, when you talk to the guys producing the show, Arn Anderson and Michael Hayes and the guys that are helping the talent, they've all told me, 'your kid is one of the best wrestlers we've got.' Timing's everything, I know that.
"They kind of went off in the wrong direction, in my opinion, when they tried to make him an extension of me. That whole bit where I gave him the belt and he kept saying, 'I'm not my Dad,' but that's when he's starting to act like me. It didn't work... of course that's not what he wanted to do. It's really a mystery to me. People constantly come up to me, even now, and they go, 'your son is so good, why aren't they doing anything with him?' I say, 'you know, that's a good question. I don't really know.' I'm not really sure where my son is too right now, in terms of, he had an injury and while he was injured he was off during the last couple months of his wife's pregnancy and during the first couple months of his son's life. I remember when he was getting ready to go back on the road he called me and he said, 'Dad, I just want you to know, I get it now. Now I know why you didn't want me to do this.' He said it's really hard to leave this little boy. I said, 'well, I tried to tell ya, but some things you just have to learn that way.'
"Again, the business is just a business. There's people that have labored and labored and it takes them a long time before they get that break and then they get it. Then sometimes, I've seen guys with a lot of talent never get it. It's the nature of the beast."
Quote:
Several stars took to their Twitter to comment on Dibiase's departure, here are some of their messages:
Bob Holly: "Hate to hear that but dont blame him. He is better than most in WWE. Once again proves talent doesnt dictate success, the guy is a great athlete and a unbelievable heel. Politics must be keeping him from the top.. I have worked and watched him, he has EVERY tool it takes to be #1, but yet they push guys who cant get over.
"Ted is just as good as Randy, if not better in every way, his promos were SOOOO good too. It just proves WWE wrong in every way when they say the talent dictates their push....NOT TRUE, Especially here.. They choose not to do anything with him.."
Justin Gabriel: "Gonna miss ya man!"
Curt Hawkins: ?"Sad to see @TedDiBiase go. Enjoyed getting to know him better these past few years. Glad we finally got to face off recently too. Good luck."
The Usos: "@TedDiBiase Sup uce!!! Hope everything goes well with you and your family. Goodluck out there!! Always are uce!!"
Curtis Axel: ?"Love ya brother!"
Tyson Kidd: "Good luck @TedDiBiase I hope to see you soon. Some memorable and fun times together"
NEWEST MEMBER OF ACES & 8s REVEALED
I'm split on this.
On the one hand, the guy had very little to no charisma is seemed. If you compare him with Orton or especially Rhodes, both of whom he teamed with in Legacy, he was a virtual black hole of charisma.
On the other hand, WWE didn't really give him a huge chance to display much charisma or grow as a character. He basically went from Orton lackey, to imitating his father, to jobber on their "C" shows. If you compare him to someone like Rhodes or Orton, both of whom kind of sucked personality wise for a long time when they debuted, Ted barely got a chance.
On the bright side, he used his birth name - which also happens to be the name of one of the most popular wrestling villains ever, so if he chooses to go elsewhere, he still has that at least.
I always thought the WWE dropped the ball on him. He has just as much charisma as Cody IMO and has the right look, 2 Gen wrestler, in ring ability...I'm not sure what the WWE thought he was missing.
As much charisma as Orton, I could maybe see since Orton was a lame duck before he started getting mean and brutal with the legends and since then, whenever he stops being as vicious, he seems to ride off of the kind of credit those periods give him.
But as much charisma as Rhodes? I personally think Cody Rhodes is one of the more charismatic guys WWE has had in the last five years or more. He's not necessarily main event at WrestleMania charismatic, but he has a level of magnetism and likeability that DiBiase never seemed to show.
DiBiase always reminded me of how many of the new guys in WWE were back about ten years ago. He was just a guy with a pretty normal name (albeit, one inherited from the Million Dollar Man) who came out in tights and wrestled. Nothing more and nothing less.
There wasn't anything about him that popped. There was no personality.
I totally disagree with you on Cody. I've never seen him as a charisma guy. He can talk and give a good promo I guess, but the word charisma never enters my mind when I see or hear him.
