Hopefully this doesn't hurt Aiden English and that he's able to become a decent singles competitor.

Regarding Aiden English:
411mania.com

Following the release of his tag team partner Simon Gotch, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Aiden English is in line for a singles push. English got over big in NXT doing a singing gimmick shortly before the creation of the Vaudevillains. He was supposed to be a heel, but was so good at the gimmick, that he got face reactions. English used to do musical theater.
Considering that English is married to Eddie Guerrero's daughter, I'm sure he'll be employed for the company as long as he wants to be. He seems to be a pretty good talent, too.

Tajiri’s WWE return is at an end. The Japanese star posted to Twitter and revealed that he has left the company after a brief return.

In the tweets (translated from Japanese), Tajiri says that the knee injury he suffered in January during a match at an NXT taping, while not too severe, caused WWE”s doctors to consider it risky for him to be back in the ring for them considering his age of forty-six. He notes that he coached at NXT while he was out but has returned to Japan. He says he has no regrets or hard feelings against WWE and thanked William Regal, Triple H and the company for giving him another chance.

Tajiri initially returned to the company last June for the Cruiserweight Classic and then appeared at the December 3rd NXT special from Japan. He signed a new contract that weekend with the company and debuted on 205 Live on Januery 3rd.

In addition to Simon Gotch and Tajiri, WWE’s post-WrestleMania spring cleaning includes a batch of Superstars and announcers from NXT.

The latest names to get the acts are former Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl, NXT competitor Chris Atkins, and backstage interviewer Andrea DiMarco.

Bredl is the most notable name on the list as 2015’s male winner of the sixth season of Tough Enough, earning a $250,000, one-year contract. He made his in-ring debut for NXT in December of that year under the name Bronson Matthews. He also competed as “The Yeti,” but not the giant mummy that once sexually assaulted Hulk Hogan.

Atkins, affectionately known at With Spandex as “the worst wrestler in the history of NXT,” joined the WWE Performance Center in November of 2015 and began competing in-ring and on television in 2016. He once lost to Mojo Rawley in one move, and once lost to Eric Young after delivering no offense whatsoever.

DiMarco is a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and Florida Panthers reporter who began ring announcing for NXT and handling backstage interview duties in early 2016. She also occasionally appeared on WWE television and pay-per-view pre-shows, as seen above.
I thought Josh was going to be the first TE winner to actually amount to something since Johnny Mundo won the competition, but nope.

Even though they were both eliminated pretty early on in the show, Patrick and Daria seem to be doing just fine in NXT right now.

Man, what a bummer. Word going around is that Aries asked for his release. Beyond being a great performer, he could have had a bright future as a color commentator. Wouldn't be surprised if he pops up on Impact soon.

No big loss. No loss period, to be frank. Cass had been close to one of the worst in-ring wrestlers on the main roster and lacked the strong character and mic work to really succeed higher up on the card. "I'm 7 foot tall and I'm big and you're small" is not an interesting nor good gimmick, especially when the small guy makes you tap out twice in two matches. I'm glad his singles push failed. We need less guys like him and Jinder at the top and more of Almas and Rusev (and Black, Ciampa and Adam Cole when they get called up).

Also, man, did the act of Enzo & Cass crash and burn within the 2 years they were on the main roster. They should've won the nxt tag titles while they still had the chance. They were red hot in NXT.

Seems like this was another Enzo situation where he became a locker room nightmare, going off script, being intoxicated in public, drinking the entire tour that was in Europe (or whichever was their last one) and having that injury scare...Guess Vince decided to cut his losses with him.
