Not sure what he is upset about unless it's he wants to be champion. Basically, he had the title, then lost it and has been getting shot after shot at the title and staying in the main event picture ever sense. The only difference is he has lost a few times.

It's a fabulous new day, yes it is!
From what I get, it's a mixture of him being physically tired and feeling frustrated with his character being aimless. Sure he had the title for a good amount of months, but he was never the main focus of WWE during his latest reign for the most part.

Yes, he was Champion and, yes, he has been at the top of the card. But he has been booked as an afterthought this entire time. He has always been booked as the Authority's bitch. He couldn't even wrestle his own matches as a strong, confident heel without having to go to the Authority and beg for assistance. It was not a very good run, other than the fact that he was featured and champion.

A rumor about the Undertaker that got shot down just as fast as it surfaced. But it's always cool to see out of character pictures of Taker. First, the rumor:

Rajah

We've received word from several fans who attended the Limp Bizkit rock concert last night in San Antonio, Texas that lead singer Fred Durst delivered some unfortunate news about The Undertaker during the show.

Towards the end of their set, Durst addressed the crowd and said:

“This next song goes out to our friend Mark Calaway , The Undertaker. He’s not doing real well right now and we want all our fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers”.

They then played "Rollin'" - which The Undertaker used as his theme song when he portrayed the American Badass towards the end of the Attitude Era.

Undertaker not doing well? Seems like that is the kind of news that would be plastered all over the internet if it were true. Current wife of Undertaker was quick to shut it down:

Rajah

Former WWE Diva Michelle McCool has responded to Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst announcing at a concert last night that The Undertaker is "not doing well" and asking fans to pray for him.

She posted the following on Instagram this evening:

“Sadly, there’s always rumors about my hubby! Apparently he’s now super sick and not doing well! While we always appreciate thoughts & prayers, we are ALL GOOD IN THE HOOD! Headed to a #cc4c dinner! Don’t forget we will both be at the hill country galleria (Austin, tx) this Sunday for the CC4C micro marathon! Come join the fun, register early online & come run for our champions! #teamcaroline #teamdrew #HUBBYWIFEcrossfitworkoutinmorning #AsGoodAsGold”

Wonder what Fred Durst was trying to accomplish with this. And who knew Limp Bizkit was even still having concerts!

Well I guess this thread is the best place for this, but it's rumored that it will be Bella vs. Bella in a HIAC match.

I've always wondered how WWE would kill the HIAC gimmick. At first, I thought it'd be making it a yearly PPV instead of a grudge match gimmick. But then I realized that the Royal Rumble is a yearly gimmick match and it doesn't suffer from overkill. If they do go with Bella vs Bella in HIAC, then they may as well melt the cage and forget the gimmick exists.

Personally, I'm hoping for Rollins vs Ambrose to be the HIAC match with a possible Cena addition.

Undertaker is exactly 30 cm taller than his wife, Michelle McCool. This picture indicates that The Undertaker's head is 30 cm in height.

Go ahead. Hold a ruler up to your head. That's a big head! The Undertaker must be gigantic!

Resting the ruler on my shoulder I got about 25cm.

Looks to me as if McCool comes up to Undertaker's chin, not his shoulders.

Maybe it's just an issue of proportion in the photo. ie, one of them has an abnormally small or large head compared with their body.

I only raised the issue because I thought Undertaker looked like he had a giant head (and body) compared to McCool.

Not that that's a problem. What's more interesting is that shirt. Is that Hebrew, or is it something from Israel?

Krav Maga is a, well, I know you don't always like Wikipedia but they do a fair enough job explaining it:

Quote:

is a self-defence system developed for the military in Israel that consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from boxing, savate, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Judo, Jujutsu, wrestling, and grappling, along with realistic fight training. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and extremely efficient and brutal counter-attacks.

Also, Michelle McCool posted another recent picture of the Undertaker prior to this one. I posted it in the wrestler picture thread. If you just want to see the picture click here.

Brock Lesnar is not currently scheduled to work another WWE show for the rest of the year and it's entirely possible we won't see him again until 2015. Part of the reason for this is WWE is now booking its product differently with the advent of the WWE Network making it less of a burden to put together really strong main events for each pay-per-view fans would have been asked to shell out nearly $60 for.

There is no way Brock Lesnar can miss 3 PPVs while being WWE World Heavyweight Champion. I don't mind that he's a part time wrestler. Lesnar is actually a throw back to the days when seeing the World Champion was a big event. We've gotten so used to seeing the reigning World Champion wrestle on Raw each week, that we don't mind missing a PPV. This is not the case with Lesnar. He shows up to promote his matches, he shows up to gloat after his victories, and you pay to see him wrestle. I don't mind that type of presentation for Lesnar. But I don't like the idea of him skipping 3 PPVs. I also don't expect it. I think this rumor is just that...a rumor. I expect to see Lesnar at Survivor Series.

If that statement is true, they should have said, "Brock Lesnar is not yet currently scheduled to work another WWE show for the rest of the year..." Because, like Cybrus said, you can'e have the WWE champion absent from TV and PPV's for 3 months. If that were the case, Daniel Bryan could still be WWE champion.

WWE had Bryan skip a PPV because they were hoping he could heal in time.

I can live with Brock skipping a PPV. Two no-shows in PPV, IDK.

Or maybe WWE can use the UFC format and have other title belts headlining PPVs as well as having N°1 Contender matches. But that would require strong build-up.

I actually had this exact idea in mind, but neither the fans or the WWE have the patience or foresight for something like that. Every time it was a particular champion turn to main event a PPV, they and the number 1 contender(s) would be the main focus on the Raws and Smackdowns leading up to the PPV.

Weird rumor going around: The Ascension could be called up and immediately paired with Bray Wyatt.

This is a rumor I've been seeing since the Luke Harper video aired last week. The rumor is that the Wyatt Family is about to split and the Ascension will be called up as Bray's new family. Bray is my favorite wrestler right now whereas I absolutely hate the Ascension. You have no idea how much I want this rumor to be completely wrong.

"Paired" as in feud? Or as in join the family? If it's the latter, then it might be a good thing for those two guys.

There's no way the current Ascension gimmick gets over on the main roster.

Big E, Xavier Woods, Emma, and Adam Rose...have all pretty much failed miserably since being called up from NXT.

Wyatt Family, Shield, Paige, and Rusev have become quite successful since being called up.

I really do believe that the Ascension will be in the first group of failures from NXT. Or at least I hope they are. That team is horrible to watch..yeah!

We noted earlier this week that WWE officials felt they have the WrestleMania 31 main event locked in. WWE has reportedly been working on finalizing WrestleMania plans this week and those plans include two special stars, likely The Rock and Sting.
There is no word yet on who may face Sting but as noted earlier, it appears WWE is building to The Rock vs. Triple H. Triple H was Sting's second choice for a match if he couldn't have The Undertaker.

The belief is still that Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31. Another match that has been discussed is John Cena vs. Rusev.

It's still early and plans always change but you have to wonder where top stars like Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton and others will fit into the plans.

Word coming out of WWE this week is that Cody Rhodes' wife Eden will be replacing Justin Roberts as the new ring announcer for Monday Night RAW.

Lilian Garcia will remain the ring announcer of SmackDown, with Byron Saxton filling in for Lilian at live events when she is not in attendance.

There is also talk of calling up Total Divas Season 1 cast member and NXT ring announcer JoJo to the main roster.

According to MetsFan4Ever, a former WWE backstage worker who has broken WWE news and produced multiple shows scripts on Reddit.com, officials from the sports-entertainment organization have Uhaa Nation on their radar. He says WWE was so impressed with his tryout at the Performance Center last month that organization officials flew to Reseda, California, to observe his match at a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) event on Friday. According to MetsFan4Ever, Nation "is currently a very high priority for WWE."

Beginning his career in 2009, Nation made his breakthrough in 2011, when he was signed by the Dragon Gate USA promotion, which also led to him making his first trip to Japan to work for Dragon Gate. Billed at 6-0 and 240 pounds, Nation is known both as a high-flyer and a power wrestler.

Not to play the race card, but he is black and therefore WWE won't push him as hard as he probably could/should be pushed. But I've seen a few gifs posted on other sites of this guy. He is quite athletic. I saw him do a couple of standing backflips and a couple moves jumping off the ropes.

I could do a standing backflip if I wanted. I don't know if I could be black though. That would be difficult.

Kudos to him though. Someone find me the links to his scripts and link me to them.

From time to time I lurk at other forums to see what people are saying about various things. It seems to me that the majority of the "internet idiots" these days are younger folk who obsess constantly about the attitude era.

Therefore, I don't think that the majority of the internet fanbase - at least the fanbase I have seen - would disagree with Rock v HHH.

On Friday, a rumor started making the rounds that WWE is planning on dropping the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) concept from its schedule starting with next year's run up to WrestleMania 31. The rumor apparently started with Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who has started many prominent wrestling rumors in the past and is thought to be an insider.
Quote:

"Word going around backstage this past Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings are that the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be no more. The early lead names going around to replace the Elimination Chamber name will be either WWE Fast Lane or WWE Fast Track. The reason is because there is only one WWE / World Champion right now. So they want to stay with the Rumble winner receiving the shot and have no Chamber even with the title holder in the match."

Later, Dave Meltzer took to The Board at the Wrestling Observer and confirmed that WWE will be dropping the Elimination Chamber PPV concept and replacing it with WWE Fast Lane. He would also say, however, that the Elimination Chamber match wouldn't be going away, just the event.

PW Insider then reported something similar while stating that the Chamber match could be used to determine a title challenger later in the year, possibly at SummerSlam. They also reported that while it hasn't been officially announced, internally WWE had planned to hold Elimination Chamber, what would now be Fast Lane, on Feb. 22, 2015, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jim Ross even commented on the subject on Twitter:
Jim Ross

Latest rumor @WWE is doing away w/ Elimination Chamber. Makes sense if true. #RossReport podcast discussed some bouts not PG/now obsolete.

Interesting concept if WWE does eliminate the Elimination Chamber from their PPV line up. But the name "Fast Lane" is pretty horrible. Just bring back "No Way Out" or one of the other better PPV names they no longer use.

The idea of moving the Elimination Chamber to later in the year to determine a number 1 contender actually works, I think. It's rare that we see a feud involve 6 men to the point that it needs an Elimination Chamber match up. I mean, it does happen (Wyatts vs Shield is a recent example), but I like the idea of the Elimination Chamber being an annual "Number one contender's match" for SummerSlam.

Also, the comment from JR about some concept matches not working in the current PG environment, I think Hell in a Cell is one of the matches that simply doesn't work in the PG environment of WWE. The best HIAC matches were bloody brawls with big bumps and epic feuds. WWE doesn't do blood anymore. We won't ever see anyone fall off the now super high HIAC match. And the gimmick is an annual match so it doesn't end any epic feuds. I kind of wish WWE would do away with HIAC for like 3 or 4 years and then bring it back when a feud actually calls for it. Although, to be fair Rollins vs Ambrose does feel HIAC worth. As would Lesnar vs Cena if that were happening.

Regarding Sting and WWE, it's expected that he will arrive in late January for the run up to WrestleMania. He's factored into the plans though for what is still unclear.

Expect Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee, Big Show vs. Mark Henry, and Los Matadores vs. Gold & Stardust to be added to Survivor Series. It appears the only traditional elimination tag match will be the main event.

WWE recently filed for a trademark on the name "Eve Torres," fueling speculation that she will be making a return to WWE. Right now, there's nothing else to indicate as much but the two sides are still on good terms.

Regarding Kurt Angle, while there have been reports that he re-signed with TNA, PW Insider noted recently that he has not "put pen to paper" but it should be done soon.

Bully Ray is expected back with TNA if/when the new television deal is announced.

I am ok with Eve returning to feud with AJ and/or Paige.

It saddens me that Kurt isn't returning as a part time WWE guy. They can do it for Brock and Taker. Why not Kurt?

Bully Ray needs to get his ass back to WWE. His solo career in TNA was probably my favorite moment of his career.

Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler appears to be the plan moving forward and don't be surprise if Harper wins the Intercontinental championship.

I thought the Harper attack on Ziggler was just a way to put Harper on Team Authority. I'd be fine with Harper being IC Champion, as long as he doesn't suffer from the normal "Lose any match that isn't a title match" that all other IC/US Champions get.
