Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler appears to be the plan moving forward and don't be surprise if Harper wins the Intercontinental championship.

I thought the Harper attack on Ziggler was just a way to put Harper on Team Authority. I'd be fine with Harper being IC Champion, as long as he doesn't suffer from the normal "Lose any match that isn't a title match" that all other IC/US Champions get.
Harper is great, but I really wish they would just merge the Intercontinental and United States Titles at this point.

I do as well. I don't see the point of having 2. You'd think with the WWE World Title of TV until Royal Rumble that they'd make one of these belts (or both) seem like the new top prize, but they haven't. Does either belt actually mean anything at this point? Does anyone think "they are serious about this guy!" when they put either belt on them? Rusev has the US Title, but Rusev is the big deal there because he is the big deal...not because of the belt.

There's been a rumor going around that WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will be finishing up with the company after Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view.

On Sunday's Wrestling Observer Radio show, Bryan Alvarez was asked by a caller about the rumor and he noted that he's been hearing the same thing. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross also addressed the rumor on a recent episode of his Ross Report podcast.

AJ Lee has been on the road full time with WWE in recent weeks as Divas Champion. She defends against Nikki Bella this Sunday at Survivor Series.

It's possible WWE will change plans on having John Cena challenge Brock Lesnar for a third time at the Royal Rumble. There was at least some talk of Randy Orton getting a match with Lesnar and that would avoid having to do another smoz finish in another Cena-Lesnar match. Don't be surprised if they change the plan but don't be surprised if they stick it it, either.

Roman Reign is now advertised for a SmackDown taping on Dec. 16 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It looks like he'll return on Raw the night before.

Although we've heard it before time and again, Charlotte and The Ascension are expected too be called up after NXT Takeover 3.

Bully Ray is currently working an angle on Twitter calling out Brock Lesnar but it's not expected he'll be coming back to WWE.

I would love to see Orton vs Lesnar in place of Cena vs Lesnar. We don't need a 4th Lensar vs Cena match. But this rumor is typed in a "well, it could be anything or could be nothing" kind of thing.

I am surprised they aren't holding Reigns off for a Royal Rumble return. They can even announce it to hype it. Unless they don't want to risk exposing Reigns as a poor draw at the moment...which he is...which should be expected at this point anyway.

The Ascension call up is going to fucking suck. I fucking hate that team. I've read they could change their ring gear, but keep it close to the 80s style. So something similar to the Legion of Doom or Demolition? That's the vibe I get from the Ascension anyway...only with more grunts and less talent.

Bully Ray needs to come back to WWE. I know he's aged, but he'd be fantastic on the big WWE stage.

PW Insider reported WWE has filmed scenes for its Royal Rumble 2015 commercial and that it will feature wrestlers in a psychiatrist's office on the couch like patients.

Not sure about this one but there's apparently some talk of Sami Zayn in the Royal Rumble as a special entrant as his call up to the main roster, something like they did with Bo Dallas. If they do it, hopefully it goes much better than it did for Bo.

TNA is expected to unveil its new logo within the next couple weeks.

I like the Royal Rumble commercials. The first one I think of is when the McMahons dressed like Romans and called it the Royalus Rumblus. That was a funny commercial. And then the West Side Story parody commercial comes in a close second. Rey wearing a wig over his mask!

Sami is going to have a disappointing run when he gets called up. I hope all his fans are prepared for that disappointment. But I'm surprised they listed Bo Dallas as a surprise entrant instead of Rusev. He debuted at Royal Rumble 2014 and has had as good of a year as anyone could have hoped. They are actually taking their time with Rusev and didn't just rush him into a feud with Cena.

I am not sure what TNA can do with their logo. Change the color? Change the font? Unless they do something drastically different, then it's still just going to be the letters TNA.

As noted recently, WWE painted up some of their giant WrestleMania 31-promotional tour buses with The Undertaker, which is said to be considered a strong sign that he will be working the show in some form.

As of right now, the booking plan is to have The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, as long as Undertaker gives word that he is willing to wrestle, which he has not done yet.

There's also a chance that he will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year, if he is indeed done with his in-ring career, although there has been talk for years that he would retire at Cowboys Stadium -- which is the site of WrestleMania 32 -- since it will likely set the all-time attendance record.

Regardless, expect Undertaker involved in some form or fashion during WrestleMania 31 weekend, as he is under a seven-figure downside guarantee contract, and WWE wants to justify the deal.

Undertaker vs Bray is definitely a match I want to see. This match would be all about the mind games. But I'm baffled as to why they would have Undertaker and Sting on the same card and not wrestle each other. This is just a rumor, so who the hell knows what will happen by the time WrestleMania rolls around.

It would actually be very easy to write that storyline. Bray Wyatt is a cult leader. He just recently cut promos about fixing both Harper and Rowan and setting them free. Undertaker just suffered his first WM defeat of his career. Bray can simply start cutting promos on Undertaker talking about how he (bray) can heal him (taker). Have Bray start talking about this in January and build the anticipation for an Undertaker return. It would be much better than the same "undertaker returns and someone interrupts him" storyline we've seen these past several years.

If Taker actually does wrestle Wyatt at WM this year, I'll be even more upset that Lesnar was the one who broke his undefeated streak.

We reported earlier today that former WWE and TNA wrestler Brian Kendrick (or "The Brian Kendrick") was backstage at last night's NXT Takeover: R Evolution live special, and that he was working a one week try-out to potentially become a new trainer for the promotion.

Kendrick worked a dark match at tonight's NXT television taping, facing off against popular indie star Sami Callihan, who has been working live shows for WWE as Solomon Crowe.

Kendrick worked for WWE between 2002 and 2008, wrestling in a tag team with Paul London for a number of years. The duo captured tag team titles on two occasions, including a 331 day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions, which stands as the longest run in the belts' history. Notably, he is listed as an "interim WWE Champion", as per the rules of a Championship Scramble match, whoever pins the current champion within the allotted time limit becomes the interim champ until pinned, or the match ends.

Brian also worked for TNA between 2010 and 2012 capturing the X-Division championship.

Former NXT Champion Adrian Neville is expected to be the next NXT star who will be called up to the main roster. There has been talk of him being repackaged with a new gimmick.

Oh, great. I can't wait for Neville to debut on Raw in a few weeks as Adam Rose's long lost brother.

Back to the "Vince McMahon is grumpy" well. Apparently, according to Daily Wrestling News, the WWE Chairman is upset that NXT is perceived to be better than WWE and he feels that some of the NXT stars are overrated. Take that for what you will.

Oh, they better not start messing up NXT just because a small percentage of Network subscribers prefer it over the main roster. If we are being honest, NXT is largely a non-factor. It isn't on TV, it isn't promoted on TV, and it has absolutely no influence on any of the main shows. It is a network exclusive for USA viewers and I think it might be a TV show for international viewers. NXT is typically pretty high on the "popular" shows list each week, so subscribers actually like the show. Just leave it alone. If it's better than the current product, make the current product better. What's the point of making your own competition if you just neuter anything that gets better than your flaghsip?

Of course, assuming this has any truth to it.

i thought that RAW was well written this week. maybe that's because it's wrestlemania season. maybe the high quality of NXT broadcasts has something to do with it.
