Triple H is a superb authority figure, whose work on the mic leaves no doubt as to where his mind is at, at any given time. Ask me if he is being straight up or playing a character, and I wouldn't be able to tell you.

Daniel Bryan overcame the odds in a textbook ascension to the main event at Wrestlemania. Everyone was watching this storyline - and what a storyline it was. Enraging at one turn, great at another, and exciting the whole way through. Bryan deserves massive kudos for his part in this angle.

Dean Ambrose went from an unknown (on my radar) to my favourite active wrestler in the space of about 2 months or so. Watching Ambrose in action is immensely entertaining because you can see how much effort the dude is putting into his work - and it's paying dividends!

I can't remember what feuds or storylines Dolph Ziggler has been in throughout the year, bar R-Ziggler and his part at Survivor Series. Nevertheless, he remains one of my favourites. He is often at the centre of attention even though he's given thoroughly mediocre roles to fill.

When I started watching wrestling at the beginning of the year, my attention was occupied by two wrestlers - Daniel Bryan, and Bray Wyatt. Everything about Wyatt is interesting - the music, the entrance, the interviews, the matches, the feuds, etc. Much like Ambrose, you can see the effort he's putting into his work, and it's paying off big time. Watching Wyatt is a pleasure. He comes in 2nd place for me.

First place, and my vote, goes to Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman).

STAY HYPED!!!
There is no question in my mind that Brock Lesnar is the Wrestler of the Year. He ended the streak. He squashed the face of the company (for the last 10 years!) at the second biggest PPV of the year. I don't care if he is a part time wrestler, there is nothing any other wrestler did that will come close to those two things.
