Apparently Highspots, the very popular wrestling supply service for fans and wrestlers alike, has an on-demand subscription service like WWE Network in Highspots.TV. Has anybody here messed around with it at all? I just learned about this on the opening of a DVD (Wake Up Time To Die w/guest Sonjay Dutt) but looking it over, I'm very tempted to dive in. Its filled with shoot interviews, a bunch of original content, and a bunch of indy matches. It basically seems like the best way to get those odds 'n ends of the indy wrestling scene. The price isn't bad, either. $9.99 a month, or $99 for a year (save $20) for unlimited access to content that would normally cost you about $10-20 per DVD. Not bad at all. Its definitely not for everyone, but for those who would get into the content it seems like a pretty good deal. I might sign up for at least a month to try it out since there doesn't seem to be a commitment like the WWE Network had. If it doesn't really click, I'm out of only ten bucks and can cancel anytime. |

Do they still offer daily subscriptions? I used Highspots.TV a couple of years ago. I'm sure they have ten times the content now than they used to. "On the Bear Skin Rug" and "Project: Paul London" are both hilarious. |

Yes, they still offer daily subscriptions. But at $7.99 for one, it'd probably be much better to just pay for a month at $9.99 unless someone is absolutely adamant about only having one day of access. They've got some free stuff, too. I'm surprised its been around for so long. If I ever heard about it before today then I must've just not registered it fully in my head. Its especially surprising because I've long loved shoots and have been looking for an affordable way to see more of them. |

If you decide to get an account, let me know if you want any recommendations. I have watched far too many shoot interviews on Highspots, especially the ones with indy wrestlers.

I might wait until next week since I've got a lot on my plate this week, but I most likely will sign up (at least for a month) so feel free to make any recommendations. |
