No one has said anything bad about Jericho at all, other than that one time that i mention how Jericho said he only does DDP yoga now instead of going to the gym and has something of a dad body. And that isnt even anything bad. I mean, we've all seen Kevin Owens and he is one of the best on the roster. The reason people dont talk about Jericho as much is because there is no debate to be had there. He is probably the best thing on the show each week, every week. He is hilarious, fun, and killing it on the mic and on the ring. Its gonna suck when he leaves again |

I hope that rumor isn't true that hes leaving soon. I mean he needs to be around until at least Wrestlemania. This run has gone on a lot longer than it was originally rumored to in the first place. So well see. |

Nothing yet on the main roster, honestly. In NXT, I think her best quality was that she had a moveset closer to a luchador than she does on the main roster, where even though she can wrestle a ground-based style, she can whip herself into being a high-flyer at any second. She reminds me of a female Zayn/Generico, and anyone can correct me if they don't see it. Her personality is a tough one because it works best when she is up against someone that challenges it, like how Sasha did in NXT. Sasha would do things like badmouth her biggest fan and make her cry which would send her into a complete lunatic rage. Like you know how if someone badmouths Cena or his fans he laughs it off? Bayley usually wouldn't and it would add more to her character, but she hasn't been challenged like that in WWE yet, except maybe this past week when Dana attacked her during her entrance. So I think for me the almost borderline naive character that ends up not being naive but angry if you really mess with her is appealing. But WWE is having that problem with her right now where they aren't using her to her max benefit, so she is kinda coming off as boring. Edited by WWEFootos48, Oct 14 2016, 12:02 PM.

Yeah maybe if she was wrestling more of a luchador style Id buy into it. I like the NXT examples you used for her personality, I could see that working. But I don't think she can wrestle a ground based style. Not well anyways. Like Ive said several times before her moves look weak, and they just aren't believable that theyd hurt someone. If she was doing more high flying Rey Mysterio stuff, itd work a lot better. So far in WWE though she hasn't been good and her match this past week was awful. |

I would have agreed before Nikki came back, but idk, Nikki has been doing great since her return and I never ONCE thought before this last run that she would be even close to a decent face, yet she's doing it. I think a lot of it is her coming off as natural, which is funny because I'm not sure if Bayley is really doing that. Like I said, maybe her and Dana can be good and be a certain catalyst. She just needs to be put in a feud that sparks her. Bayley and Nia can also work. That's why Sasha is in a tough spot right now, because her go-to opponent is Charlotte, but Sasha as a face isn't really cutting it, and Charlotte turning face is even worse. So I know those two can be even better than they currently are (I think their matches have been very good), but I'm not feeling the storyline. I didn't like Sasha's promo Monday and was glad it was cut off by Rusev, but I kinda did like Sasha and Roman teaming. Is that weird to admit? Also, I know the show was days ago, but why is Rusev so over? I like him a lot and think he's hilarious, but characters like his NEVER work out. So why did his? Did Lana influence it that much? I want to see Miz go to Raw (or Rusev to SD) and have them fight one another, so then Lana and Maryse have a feud. Edited by WWEFootos48, Oct 14 2016, 10:38 PM.

I am not surprised that she isnt booked as well on the main roster. most arent when they are called up. Whereas NXT is booked by 1 or 2 people and finalized by Triple H, Raw and SD are booked by over a dozen Hollyeood wannabe writers and the script is reportedly re-written throughout the event day. Bayley is more or less suppose to be a female version of Daniel Bryan. she is suppose to be a lovable underdog that the fans rally behind and want to see get the eventual big win. when bayley pinned Charlotte on Raw weeks ago to set up the triple threat, thats when you knew the Raw writing staff doesnt get her character. she should not have won that match. she should be continuously getting close to the big win and falling short, only to claw her way back to the challenge. |

I agree, which is why I think something done with Nia might actually help her a lot. She would be the underdog (bah gawd, Nia hasn't lost on the main roster to the likes of people who are jobbers!), but would be able to feed off her well. And on Nia's side, I said this before but if she doesn't get a strong face to go against (and why would she, it would either kill her character or the character she's facing at the end because nobody ever comes out looking good in a monster vs. underdog scenario) I think Nia herself could become a face and be decent at it. Her heel persona is honestly not good at all, but her personality on everything except TV comes off like she is a nice person, so who wouldn't love a good person who can be a role model for those who aren't barbie dolls, yet can absolutely obliterate someone? Just because you're big doesn't mean you have to be an ass, it just means you can crush someone much easier. There are enough women who are bully characters already. But Sasha is a two-time champion now. Fans have turned on practically every face who is on top for too long, so I can see them pulling the trigger on a Sasha heel turn. But to do that, they need to build up a strong face, which they simply aren't doing. Bayley can, with work. WWE might play the role for Dana to get sympathy, but I don't think she can pull being a face off. Like I said, maybe Nia can fit that role, at least give it a try. The two most popular faces not Sasha are both on SmackDown. All heels on SD are heels for a reason and can't switch. Maybe Spoiler: click to toggle can return to the main roster and fill that face spot, allowing a Sasha turn to happen?

Can't always blame the booking. She has to wrestle well doesn't she? That has to be at least part of it. She was horrible this week. Melina level botches. And while were at it, one of the worst for mistakes in a match ever was Mickie James. Nothing excites me about her return. |

That's fine. But I provide reasons and examples of matches. You say terms like "in nxt" "good at this wrestling thing" and "damn good". Where as I point out the train wreck of a squash match she had this past week. And if you go back and watch it wasn't the jobber who was fucking up, it was Bayley. And I'll continue to point out these moments to prove my point while at the same time giving credit where credit is due. If she goes out and has a good match or cuts a good promo I'll say so. Yet to happen though. |

I'm actually pissed because I'm noticing trends in women's matches I never noticed before reading certain posts. I still think the important matches have generally been very good (pretty much any one not involving Naomi that is), but there is such a drop-off in quality even when a great wrestler faces someone who isn't that good. Alexa is great, but she was terrible when facing Naomi. Bayley (I still think) is great, but still can't look good against a jobber. Even one of the Nia jobber matches was weird in that the girl was 1/3 her size but still getting her offense in and Nia wasn't looking good at all. Women have gotten so much better in facing guys they've been going against for a long time, but you can see how some experienced wrestlers still can't call a good match. i am excited for nostalgia reasons it will be good to see him again. i hope the rumors of him being "less than half his previous size" are exaggerated, since i dont want to see a skinny Goldberg. all tnat said, i hope this run is brief. a nostalgic return is great. but a headliner from 20 years ago that hasnt been around in over 12 years? i am not so sure |

A thought that came to my mind which blew me away is that Goldberg has been away from WWE for the same amount of time that Bret Hart was between the Screwjob and his return in 2010. I'm not excited to see it at all, but I am going to tune in to see him so I guess it's doing its job anyway. |

Rollins got a Sparkle Crotch chant going. Eat it, Rock. Goldberg really isn't worth watching through this show. I really loved the first segment (needless to say cause Jericho and Owens is incredible), Charlotte was good, but now the show is gonna suck for the next however long until Goldberg comes in. God dammit that backstage Owens/Jericho segment lured me back in for one more segment. I really could care less about Survivor Series though. Those tag matches never appealed to me. At this point into SD last week: "OMG WHY IS THERE ONLY 30 MINUTES LEFT! THIS SHOW CAN GO ANOTHER 90 MINUTES!" At this point into Raw right now: "OMG YES! MY CAT IS COUGHING UP A HAIRBALL! THAT IS SO MUCH MORE FUN TO WATCH THAN THIS STUPID FUCKING SHOW RIGHT NOW!!!" Bayley better be legit hurt because that might be the stupidest finish to a match I've ever seen. I think the finish was supposed to be Dana using the ropes for leverage...so basically she fucked up the ONE thing she needed to do to be successful. I liked the Rusev segment. Roman is looking pretty damn good in this feud, but I still don't understand...Roman fucked over Rusev during his honeymoon. Now Rusev just cut a standalone promo showing REAL family pictures that were actually kind of adorable (and in one he was even wearing a Pink Floyd shirt!) and Roman comes in and interrupts him. How is Rusev the bad guy in this? ![]() They're building up Goldberg well and the crowd is HOT for him. Good sign so far. "Hopefully Enzo's out here to apologize for New Jersey for what they did to Peddles." OMG COREY ![]() Why is there a cruiserweight that looks like a mini Damien Sandow? It's 10:30. Still have Sasha, the crusierweights, and Goldberg's return. Unless Goldberg returns during the cruiserweights, how the fuck can they be so over in time when the last 2 and a half hours have dragged on forever? "We'll give the lightweights 5 minutes of TV time and instead run a long-ass segment with Bo Dallas. People LOVE Bo...and DAMMIT HE HAS A POLITICAL GIMMICK! LIKE FOR THE ELECTION! HAHA!!!!" idk if you guys know this, but the women are going through something of a "revolution" and Sasha Banks dreamt of this as a little girl and is making history. i dont know about anyone else, but i dont just sit and watch wrestling. it is 2016, so i am usually either texting someone, browsing online, or doing something on my tablet. thats the way i watch all tv. so these very minor glitches in matches that some people like to over focus on, i probably miss. and they dont matter because everyone glitches and i have been over this before. but after reading about the horrible Bayley match from last week, i decided to put everything down and focus completely. Just as i expected, another perfectly good match between these talented women. there were no botches, no "weak" looking offense, and almost nothing to complain about. the only thing to discuss was that weird ending that seemed to just happen. it didnt follow a big move, it just hapoened. i am thinking it was either a case of dana not getting her feet on the ropes or an ending similar to sheamus/cesaro where dana tried to immediately take advantage of bayley hitting the LED turnbuckle. the match itself was completely fine though. not a 5 star match, but a acceptable tv match.i also paid extra attention to the charlotte/sasha interviews after lame claims of "cant talk" being tossed around. just as i expected, 2 strong interview segments from 2 of the best currently in the company. admittedly, these were pre recorded and not live so slip ups could have been edited out. but i have seen enough of both girls to know that both are good talkers and that everyone occassionally slips on the mic as well. so, yeah, while i may be admittedly distracted somewhat, it is obvious that some just hold women to a much higher standard and nitpick needlessly in an attempt to hype themselves. give it a moment and you'll see him reply with "lmao let me tell you why i am the greatest ever...oh and here is wrestling stuff too" reply

+1 I agree, the match was fine. I looked down and all of a sudden the match was over. I was a bit confused but figured Dana probably messed up the finish somehow. So I dunno what happened. I'm not sure how I feel about a Zayn/Braun feud...they've been building up Braun to be this monster and if Zayn wins...what was the point? If Braun wins...there goes any momentum Sammy had...lol. |
