Deadline reports that FOX has recently purchased a new pro wrestling drama titled, The Work.

The Work takes place in the world of pro wrestling and was written by Scott O'Connor, who wrote the novels Half World and Untouchable. The script was shopped to various cable networks but FOX picked it up. O'Connor has been a pro wrestling fan and wrote a piece on Brock Lesnar for New York Times Magazine this past August.
I imagine this show will do terribly. Nevertheless, I'd be interested in checking it out. Thoughts on Fox picking up a wrestling-related program, my 6SW brethren?

Fuck Fox. I will never understand that network. They continually greenlight sci-fi shows that are really good and cancel them within 2 seasons...if you are lucky. I'm terrified that is hat is going to happen to Lucifer and it hasn't even started to air yet.

This show has no shot on Fox.
