This happens a lot in music. Definitely possible that Led Zeppelin subconsciously stole part of the song. I just think it's very strange that this trial is happening now and not 40 years ago. Someone is desperate for money. |

I feel like this is the 12th time this has happened over this song. It's happened to Zeppelin a lot, mainly because a lot of their earlier riffs and such was inspired by early folk music. Although I still don't get how that whole "Trampled Under Foot" thing happened. I never mustered enough courage to do the research to figure out whether that was a Zeppelin song that the Doobie Brothers covered (or ripped off?) or vice versa. |
