2012 ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

I was the one that found this out. After realizing he had been missing with no sort of communistic or heads up, I decided to have a buddy of mine (who loves digging things up on people on the internet for lulz) to see if he could maybe find a number for him so I could text him to see if he was okay, like WWEfootos said, he mentioned his parents were sick, so I was thinking maybe it had something to do with that...but then my buddy showed me that article. Very sad, had been posting with him for 13+ years. My thoughts are with the victims of these crimes. |

Everyone here knows that Cybrus and I have posted together for well over 15 years I think. I always considered him a good friend. Although I have never met him in "real life" we had always talked and got along very well. So, when I saw this news report and the crimes he was accused of, I was shocked. As the days have gone on, I have hoped that it was all a big mistake, that maybe someone had accused him of something he didn't do. Innocent until proven guilty, right? The more I read and look into what I can find, the more I begin to believe that he is going to be convicted. These accusations aren't for a one time thing that happened recently. He is accused of molesting children from ages 10-15 for over a decade. In my head, I have my own thoughts about who these children were but I don't want to say it because it would be wild speculation on my part. If this is something that someone accused him of and isn't true, then that's very fucked up as well and he will never be able to get the stigma off that he is a child molestor. But, in my mind, just from what the news report says, I lean towards him being guilty of these crimes. A child was taken to a hospital where a police report was filed. That indicates there was probably some evidence taken at the hospital and the fact that he is still in jail and not out on bail says to me that the judge determined it to be unsafe for him to be free. And, If what he is accused of is true, then he is a piece of shit and I hope he never gets out of prison. |

So my first instinct right now is to pull a William Regal when he talked on the Chris Benoit tribute show and say that Cybrus is/was one of the best posters I've ever interacted with in terms of coming across as mature but also entertaining. He himself is someone I always looked up to in terms of quality and I know my writing vastly improved due to posting on here and previously TV.com. I felt like I wanted to sound like someone who could hold a conversation online and be able to express my point, and so he was always the first one I looked upon to not necessarily mimic, but take notes from. Him and I, as most long-time posters here, have had behind the scenes talks where we organized and settled situations on this board and he always came across as extremely easy to talk to. He even appointed me as a co-Admin at one point, before I kinda lost my fire for being on message boards. Even outside of here, we were pretty close. For anyone who has seen him on FB, a little-known story is that his profile pic (the one that's up right now unfortunately, and will probably be there for a good bit) was him mimicking one of my profile pics where it's a selfie through a side mirror. He thought it was a stupid pic so he spent a month trying to take a selfie through a side car (or truck?) mirror just to fuck with me and it ended up sticking. There is a pretty personal story I have where he really helped me out that I only discovered recently which occurred last August that I'll probably share within the coming days, but I'd rather digest this news first before delving into my own pretty personal encounters with him. The news itself is extremely disturbing and numbing, and I think I need some time to figure out what this all means before I make any sort of judgements or claims on him. Did he try to molest you Whosey. You can tell us. Seriously though. What did this guy do for a living? I have so many questions . Was the story about his parents a lie. Was his real name even Cybrus. Why does he look so creepy in the article? No no no. No more jokes. At the end of the day, I'm sad. Even though he hated me I always enjoyed messing with him. And I've known him for 10 years so this is pretty shocking. I hope he rots in prison |

So I was chatting with another guy that Cybrus and I posted with for 10+ years when Cybrus was going as Dallas. That were pretty close in the past. He even posted on here but left awhile back. He told me that he recalls Cybrus saying that he's tried things sexually that if he told what it was, it would make you not want to talk to him anymore. He said this years ago too. At the time, my buddy said he just assumed it was an odd fetish about feet or something. Looking back at some of his posts...knowing what we know now, are pretty creepy as hell and don't look good for him at all. Knowing the things I know now about him...with him going thru many life changing moments, tough times, some of the things he posted...it adds up. But no one even thought about the possibility, because you don't want to believe someone you've been posting with for years and years, that he could do something like this...multiple times. It's sad and incredibly disturbing. He'll have an incredibly tough life in prison. He'll get what he has coming to him. |

The one odd thing I found is that he would start to come and go a lot more, but I felt like it was always attributed to his parents' health. But looking at the timeline of events, it is extremely auspicious that he posts about his parents' health in mid-November, stopped posting, then randomly popped up in the beginning of December without any real explanation. Within that time, according to the report, was when one of the situations occurred. But at face value, at the time it's obvious it's like "yeah, he's going through a lot, so it's understandable." But that's what made it so weird...because I knew about his parents, but his parents wouldn't cause you not to be online AT ALL. Not on fb, not here, not even to check in once, which is why I figured it was much more major. I just thought maybe death or he mixed the wrong combo of sleeping pills and beer (a.k.a. the Whosey special) because he mentioned how he started to do that. I never thought he would do something like what he's charged with because I really had no reason to believe it based on conversations or whatnot, no real red flags even in hindsight that pop out to me. But I really am pretty fucking disturbed by this on the level of needing to really talk about it to one of my in-person friends. One of my closest friends talks about how she's coped with sexual assault to me all the time, and any hate I might have for anyone who commits the act is kind of muffled by the sorrow and empathy I feel for anyone who has to deal with the scars and trauma of going through it themselves. This is terrible. I'm like WWEWL over there - upset, and needing to talk this business over with someone who is not 15Shows ![]() I think it's important to remember that people are innocent until proven guilty. People have been accused of all sorts of crimes before, despite being innocent the whole time. You hear about this in relation to murder cases all the time, but it's just as true for cases of child abuse. There is a very real chance that Cybrus is innocent - that's why he is going to court. The fact that he is denied bail is not illuminating, because Cybrus lived in a fucked up state, in a fucked up country, where people are obsessed with punishing criminality to the point of punishment before a guilty verdict, in the form of refusing bail. It is absolutely reprehensible for someone like Sir Shorty to go ahead and say something like "he'll get what's coming to him" as if he has already been proven guilty. It is also reprehensible to comb through the guy's 60 bazillion posts to find the one comment that he made that sounds like a comment that a pedophile would make, after you learn that he was charged with being a pedophile. You cannot find truth after having your judgement clouded. People here may differ from me in this respect, but a friend is a friend, regardless of what they've been accused of. If it turns out that he is guilty then that is horrible, and my thoughts are with his victims. But my thoughts are also with Cybrus, because he has been a good friend to me. I work in a prison - it's not a good environment. It's a soul crushing place, and as such, it is soul crushing to learn that Cybrus is having to deal with the prospect of being in prison for such a long time. Also, something else I have taken from working in a prison, is that the people who are in there are still people. They're not monsters. Yes, they've done some terrible things, but they're still the same people they were before and after the crime ... the accused crime, in this case. The Cybrus is is in jail right now is the same guy who we all posted with. That hurts to think about.
Doctors and nurses are not compilers of evidence. They report suspicions. In this country, if a doctor or nurse has a reasonable belief that something has happened to a child, then they have to report it to the police. Someone can report based on physical evidence, based on reports from a single person, based on what a child says, etc. None of those are infallible. Nor is a report, by itself, any indication of truth. I'm unsure if these legal principles apply in the state where Cybrus lived. --- This is all very upsetting to hear about. What a tragic turn of events. I'm very sorry that things turned out this way for everyone involved. I hope that everyone involved can recover, as unlikely as that may be. Cybrus has always been very helpful, friendly and warm to me in the past. His reward for that is my continued friendship, regardless of the verdict. My thoughts would probably be aligned differently if I didn't know the person accused, and if they were proven guilty. |

I don't really have anything to add to the discussion that hasn't already been said, but I had to take a day to take it all in before commenting because I really didn't think this would be the type of news I'd ever expect to hear on a message board, especially one I've been active for such a long. This is such an unfortunate incident, regardless of whether or not he did indeed commit these crimes. |

Nor I. Also, in regards to the whole innocent before proven guilty thing, I think it's important to bear in mind that prosecutors are often driven by their desire to succeed in their career, above any interest in helping people/the truth. Occasionally they are very corrupt people. The fact that someone is charged with someone does not mean that they are guilty, nor does it necessarily mean that there is a good case against them. Just ask Vince! edit: obviously my opinions may change as the facts of this case become more apparent Edited by Nubochanozep, Mar 14 2017, 08:44 AM.

The fact that they were investigating him since November before they arrested him tells me they must have found something substantial. I appreciate your positive approach here Neb. Hopefully we can find out more in the coming months and see if he pleads guilty or not. |

McMahon was investigated for an even longer period of time. People that have been subject to even more rigorous investigations have also later been found not guilty/exonerated. I'm not pulling things out of my ass here - I studied law for a year before getting out, having realised that it is largely a morally bankrupt profession, populated by morally bankrupt people. Anyhow, we will know more once he goes to trial I suppose. But until then, I think that folks here should not turn on him. The whole point of this innocent until proven guilty business is that judgement should not precede an examination of the facts. Apparently several of you are above that sort of rational assessment. (also, you faith in any potential plea is misplaced. people don't always/often plead guilty because they are guilty - they plead guilty because the prosecutor offers them an attractive deal in response to such a plea). With that logic, innocent until proven guilty doesn't work. If even when an innocent person pleads guilty because of an offer, than at what point are they proven guilty? And to be fair, if Cybrus is in a situation where he would be willing to plead guilty in order to face less time in jail, than the evidence is most likely stacked against him no? And in a case like this you have to think about what that evidence may be. And when I think about that, than its hard to see a situation where something wrong wasn't going on. Wether or not he did exactly what they are saying, he was doing something he shouldn't have been with children. |

I think there are a few things that you should bear in mind. In a criminal trial, it is up to the prosecutor to prove the accusations he makes beyond a reasonable doubt. In other words, the prosecutor must prove the elements of that offense. There are a number of ways that he could do that: he could compile physical evidence, or he might ask witnesses to testify at trial. Alternatively, he could convince an accused person to simply admit that he is guilty of a crime. This saves the government some time and money (although the prosecutor must still prove the elements of the offence, I believe). Criminal trials are often very time consuming, and very expensive for all parties involved. Lawyers have a responsibility to the court to ensure that trials are conducted in a speedy, and inexpensive manner. People accused of crimes are often poor, stressed, and incapable of understanding the subtleties of the legal instruments which they are accused of violating. Someone who is accused of a crime is probably going to be represented by a lawyer from a small firm, or a public defender. The prosecutor works for the government, and as such, the prosecutor has the monetary, experiential and legal might of the government behind him. Also, a jury in a criminal matter such as this is probably going to be populated by people who mirror the attitudes that you can find in this thread. That is to say, it will be composed of people who might say "innocent before proven guilty", but who then say things in contradiction to that edict, or who act in contradiction of it. In short, the system is gamed against people who are accused of crimes. The system rolls on, and catches a lot of people who are in fact guilty of what they are accused of, whilst also accidentally catching quite a few people who are in fact innocent of what they are accused of. It is an undeniable fact that there are innocent people in jail. People who are charged with serious crimes face a seemingly insurmountable challenge. There is little wonder in an innocent person taking the option of 10 years in response to a guilty plea, when the most likely outcome in response to a not guilty plea, is 50 years in jail. --- At what point is someone proven guilty? At the end of the trial. Not upon being charged, not upon being denied bail, and not upon making a guilty. Is it likely that someone who accepts a plea bargain has the evidence stacked against him? A better description, I think, is that someone who accepts a plea bargain faces an apparently insurmountable challenge - one which often reflects inbuilt disparities and injustices within the criminal justice system. tl;dr - I think you (and everyone else here) should wait until the end of the trial before judging the guy. |

I hear you. And, like everyone here, we can only go by what was in the news article and the links to the court/police reports. The rest is just guess work and assumptions, which is what I did. Perhaps I'm wrong. I too hope that these are false allegations and Cybrus is innocent. We have been friends for a very long time. I'd hate to find out that he committed such a heinous crime. If he is innocent, I feel bad for what he is going through and the stigma that will follow him forever after this. If he is guilty, he is getting what he deserves.
