I am really looking forward to Asuka v Charlotte. Honestly, I'd put that match as second to last with AJ/Shin closing out Mania. But that's just the fanboy in me.

I do think Carmella is going to cash in during Nia v Bliss to win the Raw Women's title. With Asuka likely winning the title against Charlotte, she goes to SDL and it would essentially be a small "superstar shakeup/trade". I think her cash in will be similar to Rollins during Brock v Roman a few years back. She's going to pin Alexa for the win to help keep Nia looking "strong".

Shane McMahon won't be able to compete at Mania as a result of acute diverticulitis and an umbilical hernia.

Will be interesting to see what Daniel Bryan's involvement on the show will be now. I'm very fond of the rumor that includes Y2J returning to team with Bryan against Owens and Zayn.

Kane is kind of intermingling with Cena on Raw at the moment. I don't think him reuniting with Bryan on SmackDown would make much sense at this time.

Orton vs. Mahal vs. Rusev vs. Ziggler for the US Title is now confirmed. Also, Shane is still penciled in to team with Bryan against Owens and Zayn. We'll see what happens.

HBK and Daniel Bryan teaming together? Kind of odd, lol.

If HBK were to come back, it'd be cool to see him against AJ to be honest.

The Two-Time 6SW Know-It-All Champion!
I know we have the actual prediction contest, but I think we should discuss our thoughts on what we are expecting to happen at the show of shows here as we approach Wrestlemania weekend. Maybe even our first thoughts as to what will happen post-WM.

I guess I will give my thoughts on how the show will go here (since I'm going for 0 for the WMKIA).

- To start the pre-show (or rather the matches on the pre-show), the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will likely go first or second. Given how WWE likes to make the winner someone who is usually not announced for the Battle Royal beforehand (Cesaro at 30 and Corbin at 32), I'm expecting that to happen again. No one who has been announced thus far seems like a decent choice (Matt Hardy and Dolph Ziggler come the closest). So I'm going to predict someone from NXT wins. Probably Adam Cole.

- Next will probably be the Tournament final for the vacant WWE Cruiserweight Championship. I guess Cedric wins since he has been chasing the title since last year.

- The WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal will be the last pre-show match. Expect Bayley and Sasha Banks to make the final four and go at it. Expect Carmella to toss them over while they're busying with each other.

As for the main card (in suspected segment order);

- Smackdown Tag Title Match opens the show. The Bludgeon Brothers win after Harper pins one of the New Day fellows.

- Miz/Rollins/Balor is on next. If Balor shows up in his demon gear, he pins Miz. If he doesn't, Rollins pins Miz.

- Raw Women's Title Match is third. Nia Jax squashes Alexa Bliss in the shortest match of the event to win the title.

- Bryan/Shane vs Zayn/Owens is fourth. Owens pins Shane. This will lead to Bryan being fired as SD general manager by Shane two days later.

- The Hall of Fame recap will go around this point.

- The United States Title match is the fifth match on the card. Orton defends the title by RKO'ing Jinder.

- Raw Tag Team Title match is sixth. Strowman is on his own (he doesn't want a partner and says he can beat them alone). He pins Cesaro to win the titles. Expect him to lose them within a month or to (probably to the debuting Authors of Pain).

- Chris Rock and whoever else perform at this stage.

- SD Women's Title match is up next. Asuka beats Charlotte. Carmella caashes in the MITB contract and wins via roll up with her legs n the ropes.

- WWE title match is next. Will probably be the match of the night. Shinsuke wins the title.

- The Undertaker comes out to the ring... but not dressed in character. He cuts his retirement promo. Yes, I'm calling it. The fact that they have not announced it and Undertaker has not appeared at all during the buildup leads me to believe this segment will catch everyone off-guard despite the signs being there. It also makes sense he does his retirement speech here because of the streak.

- Angle/Rousey vs HHH/Stephanie follows afterwards. Rousey makes Steph tap out to win the match. Angle will be fired as Raw GM the next night on Raw.

- The Universal Championship match closes the show. Roman beats Lesnar to win the title. I expect by this point, part of the crowd will have already left since they've already seen all the matches they truly want and have no interest in Roman win.

Not going into what I expect the Post-WM storylines will be since the Superstar shakeup will likely happen later this month. Instead here's the list of NXT callups I'm predicting within the next month;

- Adam Cole
- The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar with manager Paul Ellering)
- The loser of the NXT title match (Almas or Black)
- Sanity (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Nikki Cross)

Thoughts?

I could see Matt winning this, or even Jeff making his return as Brother Nero. Last year, they announced 1 person for this battle royale and it was Mojo Rawley and he ended up winning. Let's hope we don't get another stinker like him winning. I could see Cole winning though too.

I too think Cedric will win, he's one of the most over superstars on the roster and he's a lot of fun to watch. I was hoping this match was going to be Cedric v Gulak though...odd choice by Trips to make.

Is there someone in NXT who's ready to be called up? Perhaps Nikki Cross? If not, I would hope either Sasha or Bayley to win this...maybe Vickie G makes an appearance again?

As for the main card (in suspected segment order);

- Smackdown Tag Title Match opens the show. The Bludgeon Brothers win after Harper pins one of the New Day fellows.

I think this match will be pretty good and I suspect (like most everyone) that the BBs are going to walk out of Mania the tag champs. They're ready to be the new champs.

Quote:

- Miz/Rollins/Balor is on next. If Balor shows up in his demon gear, he pins Miz. If he doesn't, Rollins pins Miz.

I think this is going to be a very good match, I agree with you as well. If we get the Demon, he'll be the new IC champ, if not, Rollins walks away as our new IC champion.

Quote:

- Raw Women's Title Match is third. Nia Jax squashes Alexa Bliss in the shortest match of the event to win the title.

Whether it's a quick squash match for Nia or they actually give them a little bit of time, I think this is where Carmella cashes in to make this a triple threat match much like Rollins did to Lesnar/Reigns a few years back. She gets the pin on Bliss, keeping Nia looking strong and she moves over to Raw while Asuka moves over to SmackDown Live.

Quote:

- Bryan/Shane vs Zayn/Owens is fourth. Owens pins Shane. This will lead to Bryan being fired as SD general manager by Shane two days later.

If Shane is medically cleared for Sunday, I think he either turns on Bryan or they have some sort of miscommunication during the match in which DB accidentally hits Shane or bumps into him leading him into a PUPB or a HK. Either way, Shane fires DB on Tuesday like you say.

Quote:

- The Hall of Fame recap will go around this point.

- The United States Title match is the fifth match on the card. Orton defends the title by RKO'ing Jinder.

I think WWE can't ignore Rusev Day for much longer and I believe if they don't give him the win, then perhaps Roode wins and they push Rusev into the main event spots.

Quote:

- Raw Tag Team Title match is sixth. Strowman is on his own (he doesn't want a partner and says he can beat them alone). He pins Cesaro to win the titles. Expect him to lose them within a month or to (probably to the debuting Authors of Pain).

I was telling my wife it would be cool if Punk (for whatever reason, it doesn't have to make sense, it's WWE where the wins don't matter nor do the losses) made his return as his partner, but I'm well aware that they are very far apart from anything. I don't know who's going to be his tag partner, I'm intrigued. Maybe he becomes the first ever to hold the tag titles by himself. Maybe his partner is Bray? Either way, the Bar are going to lose.

- SD Women's Title match is up next. Asuka beats Charlotte. Carmella caashes in the MITB contract and wins via roll up with her legs n the ropes.

I don't think Carmella is going to be the one to end Asuka's win streak here, I think Asuka wins, makes her move to SDL and dominates there for a bit as champ. I already stated that I think Carmella is going to cash in during Bliss/Nia.

Quote:

- WWE title match is next. Will probably be the match of the night. Shinsuke wins the title.

My most looked forward match of the night behind Flair/Asuka. I too think Shinsuke gets the win as well. It'll be one hell of a match.

The fact that they have not announced it and Undertaker has not appeared at all during the buildup leads me to believe this segment will catch everyone off-guard despite the signs being there. It also makes sense he does his retirement speech here because of the streak.

I think one of the reasons they haven't officially announced this match, is because Shane is still a question mark for Sunday. If Shane is cleared, I think we get Cena v Taker and stupid Biker Taker comes out. If Shane isn't cleared, then I think Cena becomes DB's partner against KO/Sami. I think the reason the match hasn't been announced, is because they want to keep their options open depending on Shane. If they announced this match and Shane isn't cleared, then who becomes DB's partner? If Shane is cleared, I suspect Cena will come out, cut a promo yet again on Taker, calling him all sorts of mean names and then we get Biker Taker coming out to accept the challenge and we get the match.

Quote:

- Angle/Rousey vs HHH/Stephanie follows afterwards. Rousey makes Steph tap out to win the match. Angle will be fired as Raw GM the next night on Raw.

I think Trips and Kurt will do the majority of the wrestling since Ronda clearly isn't ready at all. Maybe she'll start, put Steph in a few holds and locks, slam her a few times and then we see Kurt and Trips battle it out. Then Ronda will get the submission on Steph for the win. This will very likely be a stinker unless Kurt and HHH can save the match.

Quote:

- The Universal Championship match closes the show. Roman beats Lesnar to win the title. I expect by this point, part of the crowd will have already left since they've already seen all the matches they truly want and have no interest in Roman win.

I don't think anyone is going to leave WM early, especially if they paid good money for their tickets, regardless of how much this match is going to suck. We know it's very likely that Roman is going to win this match to become the new champ...but perhaps they throw a curve ball at us and maybe Dean Ambrose comes out to interfere in the match? I don't think he's cleared at all. Maybe Joe does something as I know he's been cleared.

I could definitely see all of those NXT people making the main roster very soon. I could even see Dream making the jump as well.

WWE Championship Match
- I hope it'll be a good match, it better be a good match. Naka will take the title and post WM we'll get the rematch.

Universal Champion Match
- DA BIG DOG wins, no rematch. Lesnar goes to UFC. Post WM we'll get some sort of number 1 contender multi-man match or tourney.

Ronda's debut
- HHH will do the heavy lifting, even Angle looks like he really can't go anymore. Ronda will get tagged in for a few minutes at a time. She'll have big spots against both HHH and Steph. Team Angle wins.
Post WM Ronda just does promo segments while still training at the PC.

Smackdown Women's title Match
- Asuka wins hands down. But Carmella is a wildcard, the WWE really dropped the ball with her MITB. She should have already cashed in way before now. Most likely there will be a failed cash in. Post WM, way past, Becky should be the one to end the streak. She's long overdue for something.

Raw Women's title Match
- Nia Jax wins. Alexa Bliss is way past getting up comeuppance.

IC Title match
- Hard to say, I think Finn gets the strap. Post WM match after match with Seth.

Cruiserweight title Match
- Should be a barn burner, and deserves to be on the main card. Cetric HAS to win, it's been a long time coming. Post WM is sorta clear, they're building Buddy Murphy has the brand's top heel.

Raw Tag Team title Match
- Braun and his partner clearly wins. The only good two choices are either Elias or my darkhorse pick: Neville. Post WM will just be Braun and his partner picking up wins.

US title Match
- Probably the match I care least about. Complete toss up. Jinder maybe? Post WM we'll just get more of the same.

Men's Battle Royal
- Meaningless Match. Maybe Corbin repeats. Post WM is of no consequence.

Women's Battle Royal
- Becky. Please Becky. Post WM she'll break Asuka's streak at SS.

Daniel Bryan's in ring return
- Been hearing rumbles of Shane turning on D-Bry, but that makes absolutely no sense. But I don't see KO and SZ going to Raw and leaving a void at SDL. Shane turns on D-Bry for stealing his thunder, and post WM will see D-Bry vs. Shane at the next PPV.

Smackdown Tag Team match
- Seems like the writing is on the wall for the Bludgeon Brothers. Post WM will see them do more of the same.
