I've deleted any excess players that were delisted at today's AFL list lodgement.
Among the casualties are Chris Johnson from Melbourne, Fiora, Leigh Brown and Pfeiffer.
Why?
Should be able to take them if we so choose.

I reckon it would make our Div.2 more exciting, cos if they get picked up in the National Draft that means we get first dibs on them (most likely).
Why do you have to disagree with everything?

What, can't I have an opinion? The main (only other) thing I disagreed with ended up being changed to what I suggested, a change which was for the betterment of the game. So give the attitude a rest.
And, yes, thats fine. I thought they were being completely scrapped from both drafts which was a fair assumption based on the wording of your post.

Just thought it was the common sense approach to delete them in case someone accidentally picks them up and they aren't even on an AFL list.

Not really, if someone wants to take one in hope they get re-drafted (Chris Johnson will for one, he was offered a contract and quit so hes a certainty) they should be able to do so.

Technically he was still delisted though.
So as a result, would be nice to have him in our national draft.

Those players aren't on lists anymore shabby. If your serious about your idea then technically Cousins should be allowed to be drafted and so should all this years draftees.
Taking them off the available players lists was a way to help all coaches.

Nothing wrong with them being unavailable until the div 2 draft, as I said.
But they should still be available at the start of the draft even thought they won't be on a list at that stage, which looks like being the case which is good.
