How long has PerthSwans got left?
Does the 24 hour rule apply to the first round?

Finally posted my picks.
Browny got pick 8 because, he unlike many KF's can score points well and is pretty much the same as the Pavlich's, the Riewoldt's and the Franklin's.
Judd gets pick 9 because he is a freak. Won almost every award in the AFL and is now an AA captain. Great midfielder.

Pretty much the players I would have expected to be gone at this stage

Surely we're going to need less than a 24 hour limit. 12 maybe? Some of us division two coaches would like to begin drafting before the 2010 season.

Yeah, now that all the div 1 coaches know the draft is going that could be brought in soon. Maybe after their second round picks. Can't bring it in right now without prior notice.
Anyone who misses the deadline can still take their pick when they're on so it won't be too costly but it will definitely keep the draft moving

Very, very good pick DTM. Fish is the best scoring key defender in the game.

I think 12 hours is a bit unrealistic. I certainly don't expect everyone to check their computers once every 12 hours. 5 picks a day will see us start the season on time and so far after what should be the slowest few days we are better than that average. I think bring in a shorter time period, maybe 16 or 18 hours, in a few rounds if this isn't moving along quick enough.
However i acknowledge that as a div 2 coach this period in time would be a bit boring and annoying but as a div 1 coach i don't wanna see a 12 hour limit.
Now as for Fisher - my second pick. As you say RLL, he is the best key back going around so hopefully i get a really good advantage in this area next season!

It's a pity I have to wait till pick 24 now, so I will be on critisizing peoples choices.

Also, there is a particular player in my mind that may (it might not) come as a shock. Hopefully this player isn't picked up by 24.

Pie 4 Life did the right thing. Cooney is a Brownlow medallist and a high scorer, so it is a good choice.

Yep, good young high scoring player, although it's hard to go wrong at this stage of the draft...

Very much so. I rate Goddard and he's one of my favourite non-Richmond players, but so high in the draft?

Thought process was that there is still PLENTY of middies to pick that are quality so might aswell get myself a quality FF so im not stuck with being forced to play a B Grade Forward there.

Yep, that's why I thought you did it. Fev has the scope to score even higher with Carlton beginning to rise up the ladder as well.
