OK, so Pie hasn't come back on when he said he would to take his pick, so I'm just gonna select the next guy off his preference list (hope this is alright, Pie

Thanks for drafting for me D2T. More than happy with Black. All the "Gun" KPP's have gone that I would have targeted and have a handful who I'm interested in for my next few picks who I believe will be there, so the best ruckman and the league and two Brownlow medallists will do me more than fine

Why is everyone so surpised at Goddard at 12? One of the highest scoring backs and will only get better with a full season.
I'm surprised everyone is stocking up on midfielders. They are a dime a dozen and will have plenty left at the end.
The backs and forwards are surely the hardest to fill?

Hence why you've picked 2 half back flankers/mids?
Justification behind Newman?

MMM didn't really think about Newman TBH.
Probably will wish i didn't get both but there still super high scoring defenders.
Not too pissed to get them early with plenty of pure mids still available.

Petrie to ruck, Lake to FB.
IIRC Lake scored well - which is hard for a KP defender. Petrie was the next best available ruckman.

Petrie is my favourite pick so far, just for pure flexibility.

Dunno about that, Deledio shouldn't have lasted until 24 IMO.

Yeh Petrie is a good get.
Can he be played as a Forward in this?

I'd say Key Back, Ruck and Key Forward are all probably available for Petrie.

Petrie's probably a good test case for positions.
I would think he's able to play in any at all. Full back would be the biggest question mark.

I think goddard was a good pick. If leafie was on we'd be able to knock over quite a few rounds tonight!
