He will probably average more next season then what some of the players picked before him will average in their careers. No point drafting a whole heap of kids and hoping they turn good.
Yes but once he retires who comes in for him? A kid.
He's a good player but a bit of a surprise going that early.

Not necessarily. Trading also plays a part of this game. I'm aiming for a team that has success now, not in 5 years time.

Yeh that's fine but some young talent could also make your team better now.

If Jmac continues his form, he will average between 80 and 100.
Not many players left are capable of sustaining such an average.

TBNB don't think you realise it's your pick. Your last activity says 4:01 but the last pick was taken by me over an hour before that time.

Don't think anyone is going to want to accept a trade when they're gaining a 32 year old. You're basically picking up a guy to play for one season.

There are still 3 teams that have severely outdated team lists and one or two who don't have anything at all in this. It's not hard to make a pick and then add a player to your list and it will save you a fair bit of work later. Also there aren't a lot of best 22's that I can see but that may be due to draft picks.
And to the couple of div one coaches who haven't done this yet, no excuses, get it done asap.

Not trading him... I meant I can trade some of my picks/ players to replace him when he retires.
Whether he retires 1,2 or een 3 years time, he is still a quality player and scorer who will help my team get promoted.

Can't believe Grimes lasted this long. Absolute steal this late in the draft.

Probably because he has played one game of footy
Although your Rhyce Shaw pick was a goody.

I reckon I probably will leave a few good un's.
With so many top 10 picks I'll probably go for need, so I'm bound to leave some good ones behind.

I really like Jarred Moore's selection. Whoever got him got an absolute bargain.

Woodville just over the Doormats atm for mine, but too early to tell given national draft picks have to be taken.
