I wouldn't have thought so, given he doesn't even play key forward at Port Adelaide.

He's kind of like Burton.
Plays FF occasionally but shouldn't really be there.
Although if i drafted him I'd want to play him at FF.

What about Tredrea, Westhoff and Lade when he's resting down there? When does Motlop play Full Forward?

Is Daniel Motlop eligible to play as a KF?
Not in my opinion. Just because he's a lead up forward, doesn't make him a key forward.

I would actually say Medhurst could be a FF because he can play there like Johnson does, he's a leading small forward, not a crumber.
Motlop isn't though.

Johnson isn't a KP either.
He's not even playing there for Bulldogs anymore.

Just because a player is a lead-up player, it doesn't make them a key position player.
Medhurst is not a FF or CHF.
Brad Johnson however plays as the primary target for the Bulldogs. I'd classify him as a KF

Scott Wlesh and Robert Murphy beg to differ.
This year especially i think Johnson has been a Sml fwd.

Not a KF IMO
1) He's 186cm 2) He's a lead up forward, he doesn't play in a KEY position

Except for height what is the difference between him and say Reiwoldt?

Riewoldt plays the same kind of role, but if you want Murphy playing CHF it opens a can of worms for all other players, which we don't want to do.
He's not a CHF, he's a lead up forward flanker. Done.

Johnson as a KPP is a bit of a myth. He is not really any different to Medhurst in style, the only reason he ever played there was because the Dogs had noone else. Is a KPP out of necessity, despite performing quite well, a true KPP in this 'black & white' system? I would say no.
Understandable if he ends up being an exception I spose though.

I doubt Murphy has been named in a key position on the team sheet as well, unlike Riewoldt who is always pencilled into FF/CHF.

OK I've noticed a few people are drafting extra midfielders to cover different spots on the field.
This is not on.
It's a cheap way out and takes away from the realism of naming a 'proper' 22 each week.
The interchange bench counts towards your score every week, so I'm fine with them being placed there, but playing genuine midfielders in the forward line won't be happening.
Sorry to be such a sourpuss, but if I don't toughen up on this the game will lose much of its spark if every team starts playing 8-10 midfielders a week.

I got one for people. Tarkyn Lockyer as a Utility. Obviously everyone knows hw's played midfield and in the backline but the last five games or so, he was played more in the forward line, kicking a handful of goals, I'm not fussed either way, but could you consider him as a half forward flanker much like a back flanker and a midfielder?

Can't be to fussed over midfielders imo
Most can & do play other positions
Besides that...most "traditional" positions are redundent & modern teams consist of "bulk" mids starting back, forward & centre
ie Alan Didak,Small forward...Plays more as a wingman
Luke Hodge,Small Defender, Plays as a rebounding/playmaking Mid starting in the back 50
etc etc
