When will cousins go?
My guess is the first pick that a tier one team has...

Well all of those were a bit of a surprise to me except Rich.
Cousins won't last too long so the 2nd tier team will only get him for this year and second year so they'd hope they get promoted.
Watts won't play much if all next year as he is still doing year 12.
And Natiunui (sp?) is a skinny ruckmen who went get much of the ball.
Bit weird IMO.

Cousins will remain clean and play for 3 years IMO....I wouldn't have taken him otherwise.
Naitanui is a skinny ruckman, correct. Doesn't mean he can't play and will score similarly to Kreuzer in his first year, although it may be 5-10 points less a game.
You realise it isn't a one year game don't you? Watts is a very safe bet to be a player in years to come.
Otherwise the first 4 picks would have been Cousins, Carr, Johnson, Hislop lol.

No I would of had Hartlett and Ziebell in my top 5.
And I can't see Naitanui averaging near Kreuzer TBH.

Hartlett or Ziebell may still go at 5.
Naitanui will get many more tackles than Kreuzer which should ramp up his points.
Like I said I don't expect him to get as many as Kreuzer, but I do expect him to be around the 50-55 mark (Kreuzer only managed 60 a game after all).

Looks like Lachie Hansen is rightfully being set to play forward, so picking Hurley was a must even though theres quite a few smalls I rate higher on best available criteria.

Leaving Hartlett to drop to the Slappers may be a monumental error by myself, but I'm liking the look of Hill and Yarran is going to be a very good footballer not only in the future but straight away.
Merry Christmas RB

If you were real keen on Hurley you should have taken him at pick 4 knowing I would never take Cousins

Hmmm shows I don't really know much about you, although I had an inkling that you would pass over him, I thought better to be safe than sorry.
Done and dusted now though.
RB, your pick is up now in not only this draft, but the Rookie draft as well.

Had Hurley & Johnstone in mind but getting Hartlett,Ziebell & Sidebottom is all good
Slappers midfield will be very strong in a few years.

Rich and Cordy so far for me .. would have preferred if someone like Ziebell slipped to 14 but oh well.

lol TBNB you just drafted someone you have already drafted in Nick Heyne.
Please take your pick again and be more careful when selecting next time...

Just a reminder people that yesterday morning it was announced that a 12-hour time limit will be brought in for both the National and Rookie drafts, starting at 8 am today.
The timer will stop at Midnight each night as well.
If you haven't sent a preference list and haven't taken your pick in that time, you will be skipped and will have to take your pick when you come back online.

Just a reminder guys that the time restrictions will not be in effect between 8am this morning until midday, New Year's Day.
Feel free to take your pick of course if you are online though.
