From AFL round 4 all teams to be named in the following format: (It would be appreciated if people would start this week but not essential. Do it though if you can )
Woodville Warriors B: R.Ladson, T.Pears, B.Jones HB: P.Ryder, J.Frawley, R.Griffen C: B.Stanton, B.Gibbs, A.Cooney HF: A.Monfries, J.Anthony, S.Thompson F: D.Thomas, T.Hawkins, Aa.Davey R: A.Sandilands, J.Bartel, G.Ablett Int: J.Moore, B.Howlett, M.Hahn, K.Reimers
EMG: B.Burton, K.Bradley, W.Minson
Capt: G.Ablett VC: J.Bartel
By team: A S.Thompson Ca B.Gibbs Co J.Anthony Co D.Thomas E B.Howlett E T.Pears E K.Reimers E P.Ryder E B.Stanton E A.Monfries F A.Sandilands G J.Bartel G G.Ablett H R.Ladson G T.Hawkins M Aa.Davey M J.Frawley Sy J.Moore WB A.Cooney WB R.Griffen WB M.Hahn WC B.Jones
EMG: A B.Burton F K.Bradley WB W.Minson
It might also be a good idea to include all players from your team who are not selected below this just for reference and it would also make it easy to just copy and paste to next week's match threads and make whatever changes that might be required.
The opposition coach then quotes this team and is responsible for doing the scores for this team by adding the players scores to the list by team. Because it's ordered by team it will be very easy to keep updated using FF as matches are played over the weekend. I would also do the same with my opposition. Home ground advantage for league matches would need to be added and captains doubled.
Once the scores are done I would double check the scores for my team (which was done by my opposition) and they would do the same for their team. Then we'd have a result. All with only about 10 minutes work from everyone.
Even if some people don't do the scores the new format will make it easier for P4L or anyone else to more easily finish off whatever isn't done.
Cheers guys.

I'm happy to do all the scores, I'm not fussed about that. Unless someone wants to do a match or two or something. But otherwise I'm happy. This format certainly would be helpful if people could do this. I know it may take a bit but basically listing the players team by team would great when doing scoring

Once you've done it for the first time it's just a case of copying and pasting each week and then making changes. It'll probably save you time (all coaches) every week when they name their teams

It took me maybe 35 seconds to do mine.
Do you guys use FFGenie? It allows you do look up stats for every player from every team all throughout the year and you can also make up team lists and just simply tally the score in a matter of seconds. For instance; I've made several teams for my supercoach sides, my dreamteam sides, my fantasy coaching sides in this game and on TFM.
You can still use the current format that you are bringing in now but it will make it much quicker. I suggest everyone download it. (Harmless and free.)
You can download it or simply run it of the internet...
If you've got any questions on it then just ask...

I'm adding each of the teams so when it comes to the end of the weekend and scores are posted (probably Monday) it will take about one minute per team

Yeh it's just brilliant.
You going to only add the 22 named and then just do ins and outs or you going to do the whole squad and just add the 22 players selected? I've done both for mine as it helps to see players who might go under the radar. For instance I forgot I had Mark Jamar who has sored two tons whilst Cox has put out two forties...

That way everyone is there and I can just change the players teams where trades occur.

Also something to note... with the way I score them through FF Genie, this scoring way isnt a neccesity as all the players who played for that particular team are in a list so really if people don't do it, its not major, if they do they thats cool, i usually list players in order of most SC points to least which would just mean rearranging the list.

So you have the full squads in FFGenie? We still need to list all ins/outs to make your job easier?

So you have the full squads in FFGenie? We still need to list all ins/outs to make your job easier? Full squads. Makes it look interesting, but not neccessary. As long as the names there are all in people's team lists and what not, I can easily work it out because the players who played are bolded and then I list them in order of most to least.
