Thebes has declared herself to be openly in rebellion. Therefore, I order the Kings of Boetia and Attica to subdue these rebel scum. There shall be great rewards to he who achieves the most merit in eradicating the Theban rebels.

Know that though I, Agamemnon, am king of kings, sovereign of the Achaeans, I consider the following lands to be within my personal demesne: Achaia and Arcadia, heartland of the Peloponnese and of all Achaeans, Laconia, and Megaris.

Let it be known that the King of Kings grants unto Diomedes, King of Argos, the Royal Writ, to carry out the will of the King of Kings in the pacification and civilisation of the Cyclades.
