Sharing the same building as the Rangers Office', a cut-away wall reveals the small shop. There's no grande show or plaque that states the shops name outside of a hand-made wooden sign hanging on the left, spelling out 'Mining Wares' sloppily.
The bare oak wood is kept clean despite the amount of heavy items and boots that come through day in and day out. While the shop itself feels claustrophobic with is small shelving and thin walk-ways, there's still a manageable amount of room to awkwardly maneuver around with an armful of items, though the amount of nicks and dings in surrounding shelves and walls from various stumbles of item-laden customers, is beyond count.

The entire place smells of iron and wood, the noise of customers and browsers easily filling up the small space. While a variety of pickaxes and shovels are displayed on the wall behind the counter, none of the large, pointy items are on the shelves. Instead, the shopkeeper stumbles back and fourth from the front to the back, bringing customers choices from a hidden stock before ringing in the items that surround the thin shelving.

"P-please get your s-smaller i-items first!"
They wince as they speak, fumbling with their quill every time a customer makes a purchase.
"TH-these bigger items..they al-always catch th-the shelvings.."

As the latest customer leaves, he closes his eyes with a sigh, pushing a pair of glasses higher onto the bridge of his nose. They flinch back slightly as he realizes you standing there. Laughing, he continues to fidget.

"H-hi there. W-we have picka-axes, sh-shovels, a-and...a-and dynamite, all o-of which I-I'll have to g-get myself... I-if you li-like you c-can tell me wh-wh-,"
he gulps
"What you're l-looking for, and brows-se the sh-shop while you wait.."

He gangily gestures to the outward shop, that holds information booklets, magnifying glasses, and small brushes made for dusting fossils.
