If Matt M is on the up and up, he really thinks similar to the way I do.

Matt P needs to not get greedy, it could fuck up our whole game.

Damnit this is how unicorns become extinct!

Elaborate on you and Sawyer and what your partnership and plans are right now and beyond.

~ For anyone who wasn't in Palau-Redux............Robb was "Steph" and Sawyer was "Ashlee" - and they called each other *Sparkly Unicorns* :D

And for the record, I called him/her a sparkly unicorn. Why? I really don't remember. I probably was drunk.

It's claimed. Ugh. Juli shared with me her exchange with Brobst.

She doesn't understand it, but I interpret it as her guessing correctly, but someone already guessed correctly and received the idol.

Logically I kind of expected a more tangible find though. Not a trade-in.

Voting for Ibrehem tonight. I know, not what I really wanted.

He approached me very aggressively at the merge. In a "you're with me or against me" type way. I offered to work with him if he could work with the original 7, but he never fully agreed again.

And he was skeptical enough of Deb/Linds - and she had her own doubts, since they talked for hours the other night with zero talk of gameplay - enough to flip her too.

Djon, when you read this someday, you don't normally play so aggressive, and it totally caught me out of left field. I know you have school and that makes sense, but when you walk in ready to make huge moves, it makes you super unpredictable and you weren't convincing in entertaining getting rid of the non Palau's and trying later. More just "I'll think about it."

PLus its super hard to work with someone you can't talk to. I'll buy you a beer next time you're in NY to make it up to you.

That is... if its not me getting blindsided tonight. Then you owe ME a beer.

Nope.

But when someone references something that I know everyone might not understand after the game, I try to at least have it clarified for reading purposes. Cause I'm diligent
like that. :D

Soooooooooooooo......

........would you rather this vote was easy and everyone just squeaks right to the end? Or is the gamer in you glad that it's become a complicated situation to think about?

Both.

But after the last two hurt-feeling votes, the game has kind of lost some of its fun for me.

In particular, T-Bird's attitude towards Lindsey?

P.S. I in no way condone anyone over-reacting to getting voted out and crossing a line............but at the same time..............did anyone think this game would be easy?
In some ways, this game could be the closest representation to what it's really like to play the game........minus the starvation and million dollar check.

"Tbird" and "Ryan" both went away with seriously hurt feelings.

I know you don't condone it at all. I didn't think it would be easy, but I did think everyone was walking in knowing what they were getting into.

This is closer, emotionally, but without a $1 mil at the end, sometimes I feel a little silly getting stressed and hurting feelings just to be a 'winner'

I guess in some ways I was a bit surprised at Ryan and T-Bird's reactions.........and in some ways.............I wasn't.

The thing that amazes me after every game I've played in or hosted is that there are still people who think that everything is always going to go their way in a game and they couldn't possibly be being "played." It's the whole *Which Side Of the Knife Are You On* type of thing.

And yea, I am also disappointed with Newman for treating and talking to Deb like that. I really liked playing the game with Newman, and am totally bummed to see him act like this. He's a bright guy and I'd expect a good games to also be a good sport, regardless of the outcome. But then also for him to say that he'll try to screw with people from outside the game? Really... I understand being pissed at first, but ... yea. Just a little too far especially after saying other people had said rude things to him after he voted them out in previous games.

Then the week before Mike telling Allie he didn't want her charity donation since she voted him out. Really?? Refusing money for charity?

I'm not sure if I'm gonna enjoy continually risking friendships in something thats supposed to be fun.

I really don't think I'm a jerk.
