Being this is an allstar game, and especially given that you provided us all with links to ALL of your previous games, I'm just dumbfounded at that some very good players just did not learn lessons from games past.

For instance, in Belize, there was an extremely large alliance set up, before tribes were even assigned. It was large, it was intricate, and it was destined to fail. Why? Just too hard to sustain something like that for the entire course of a fluid game. Yet, despite the evidence to the contrary, we had players (good ones, at that), once again, try to set up a rigid SEVEN person alliance BEFORE THE GAME EVEN STARTED, because they thought it was a way to control the game.

This game started with 18 people; that means there are 16 rounds before the final tribal council. That is a LOT of time for those sitting 5th, 6th, 7th to realize, "hey, I think I'm sitting 5th, 6th, 7th." So people begin to position themselves... both the people at the bottom AND the people at the top. Those at the bottom start getting promised higher slots by the people at the top, either to keep them in check, or to counter offers made by other people at the top. All of the sudden, reality is masked by a veil of deception and illusion. Nobody knows what to believe anymore. People will defect.

And they did. Hell, it only took a few rounds before Lindsey leaked rumors of a "super alliance" to people like JR and Helen. And then immediately at the merge, Ibrehem AND Lindsey both came right to me and told me all about the Pulau Seven. It just wasn't sustainable.

You know my theory about what makes allianecs strong. They have to have the appearance of mutual benefit to all involved. How can you EVER keep such an appearance when there are SEVEN people involved? You just can't.

LOL... so apparently the lesson I need to learn is not to let the ONE WRONG PERSON win immunity at final four. First Dave, now Jill. LOL.

I had a blast this game. I really did. But even if I had won, Siberia would still be my baby. :ph43r:
