Behold a clip from Soldier Boyz in which the characters are introduced. I stuck it on HammerNationTime just to check how safe it was. It's unlisted but in any case it does indeed seem safe enough as other clips exist on YouTube with no apparent blocking in place. So without further ado...

Soldier Boyz is a 1995 action B-movie starring Michael Dudikoff (his best performance to date according to the German DVD cover, meaning he was horrifyingly shitty in everything he did before this). Six youth convicts are picked out by a retired marine major who has been asked to rescue some relief worker from some Vietnamese freedom fighters led by Vin Moch - portrayed by none other than Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat).

After some hastily-conducted training these six stereotypes (Butts, a black gangster; Monster, an angry black rapist; Lopez, a Latino gangster; Vasquez... yes, that's really her name, a Latino girl who killed a man for molesting her; Brophy, a white-supremacist; and Lamb, the token not-guilty white-meat baby-face guy) go on the adventure of a lifetime or some shit.

The film sticks out for me because of Retsupurae's riff on the PC CD-ROM game, but also because the entire time this film was being shot, one of my favourite directors - fucking Darren Aronofsky - was on the set getting extra footage filmed for said PC CD-ROM game. I am not kidding.

So there it is. That test upload is unlisted in case anyone cares to annotate it, and you can watch the Retsupurae riff on the PC game here to get a better idea of what happens in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZaZaw7PXCM

If I had to say anything nice about the film it would be that Brophy's actor actually puts on a decent performance in my opinion.

You know, I actually did suggest another PC CD-ROM with the same rules.

Except I figured that it should be played out like a 20-minute episodic series, running alongside another cartoon series.

The actual material here seems pretty promising!

I've always wanted to see a B-Movie done, and this looks very promising. I would enjoy seeing it.

I love the idea of doing FMV games. They seem much more light hearted and fun rifting, unlike say SMB:SS. Thats just now turned bitter and depressing.

SMBSS really dragged us down. Most of us are just sick of it now I think. Lord knows I am.

Its been a year plus. Next time we face down a multi-season show we should break up the seasons 6 months to a year.
