By posting times when the twin towers were used in popular media as being destroyed or in danger of destruction. There was one in the Men in Black cartoon and also in your favorite movie and mine, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. (there are also people who actually believe the twin towers were destroyed in that movie to make Americans accepting of it and unwilling to change it. I can't tell if they are joke vids but you can look for yourself. |

You know at this point, I hope America doesn't turn 9/11 into an overblown holiday in 10 years or so, since my 9/11 was a relatively normal day. Let things be in the past, man. Sides, we already paid our return with Osama. I know i know, 2edgy. Anywho, there is the Simpsons episode that seemingly predicted the whole thing. It's not really 'destructiony' though.

![]() It's already happening. Mark my words, by 2030, September 11th will just be another Memorial Day (i.e. devoid of all but a sliver of meaning, parades and sales as far as the eye can see). |

Eh. Today's the day I remember that Ridley crashed and burned. Kidding. This was a horrible event. I still have vivid memories from my childhood about it, and I hope that it is never truly forgotten. That makes me think. Do you think that the "NEVER FORGET" annotations that poke fun at 9/11 are distasteful? I don't think they're inherently bad. After a certain point, you should be able to poke fun at tragedy to show that you've grown beyond it, so long as you're not cruel or disrespectful to the people who were close to it. |

It's a bit of a touchy subject, but we're not outright mocking those who perished in the tragedy/families of have. It's just all jokes for the hell of it, just to poke comedy at. Basically, the usual black humor that we pull off. All in all, we all have a little Gilbert Gottfried or Joan Rivers inside of us. In my personal light, I really don't mind remembering the whole thing for a minute, but that's just it; a minute. I don't want to spend my day just remembering, since this day was a regular day before 9/10 of 2001, and I want to move on in life treating it as a regular day that just happened to have the worst events happen to America. |

Aww, c'mere, you. *bear hugs you* Yeah, I agree with using those jokes in the right way, as we're not that cruel and would never do anything like that with our audience. A little black comedy is fine IMO, just as long as we don't get too carried away and if it's done right. :) |

I think everything and everyone can and should be made fun of, as long as it's done with the intent of making people laugh. Making fun of things/people with ill intent is a no-no, unless they've specifically done something to deserve it. The day someone starts dictating what we can and can't poke fun at is the day comedy as a concept dies. |
