Time for us to take a look back at what made the earliest caveman-like ages of the internet so great. Let's start us off with.. ![]() ![]() You know this guy. The one who stays there to shame you for not being patient with their hard efforts to bring their site into fruition. Nowadays if you see them, you either assume the creator got too lazy, couldn't keep his word, went to get a life, or died. Usually it's all of the above. ![]() Now who could forget this? This is where emails were such a revolutionary technology, that nobody could even believe it was even real. Sadly (or fortunately), this service is no longer considered relevant, and anyone who uses it is probably going to get laughed at for having a monitor the size of a miniature fridge. http://www.wonder-tonic.com/geocitiesizer/ Oh, this is great. You can make any site look like it was made in the late ninties by some teenager that thought he would get free pornography, back when it was called pornography. Give it a try. Post any more things that take you back, or are just pretty much humorous compared to now. Oh yeah, and don't forget the midi music. Balling. |

Oh, and remember when fansites URL's were just so damn weird? like thing.thing.thing? Coding is impossible! Nobody went to Internet anyway because they were playing LucasArts point-and-clicks or Doom.

Back in the 90s, I was a wee lad playing on Lego.com. Man I feel old. |
