I knew that Internet stopped being a freedom place eventually because it whored itself out since 2010.

Oh well, R.I.P. Anonymity, Freedom of Speech and Everything Else that made Internet a cool place. I for one welcome our new Corporate overlords.

Is there ANYTHING that won't ever be owned or affected by money-grubbing corporations? Maybe someday they'll even own the streets.

You'll have to pay a street provider every time you want to go outside. It will be the golden age of hikikomori/NEET basement dwellers.

Even worse, they'll own all the basement dwellers/hikikomori.
