- For many centuries, Elves have reigned as the rulers of Arcus. They have, for the most part, been considered just and wise leaders, and no attempt to steal the throne from them has been successful.
But that has not stopped anyone from trying.
The latest attempt from a young crosser. Seduced by an angel, claiming she was the messenger of Laria and Nerok, and that the gods had chosen him to be the next ruler of Arcus. To take the throne, she summoned three great beasts from another dimension, and gave him the power to control them. Together, they sent the beasts to destroy Eastmeadow Keep and the royal family. At first, their attack seemed successful-the palace guards could hardly contend with the beasts, and the queen lost her life to them. But the crosser lost control of the beasts, and they stopped their attack, scattering to the far reaches of Arcus.
The king and his children was left to mourn the lose of his wife and of their mother, believing the beasts' departure to be the end of the attack. Over the next few weeks, however, he received reports from all over Arcus of attacks by strange, powerful creatures. Believing them to be the same monsters that attacked his family, the king has offered many amazing rewards to anyone who can slay the beasts.

King of Arcus : An elf, appears to be middle aged. The king, left in mourning by the death of his wife, is enraged that the beasts are now attacking his people. He would give anything to see their deaths, and is thus offering much for their demise-from land to treasure to his daughter's hand, the slayers of the beasts may ask practically anything as a reward. At the same time, he is trying to get his children to return home, before they are taken by the beasts they now hunt.
The Usurper: Crosser, early Twenties. The crosser was originally convinced that the plan to use the beasts would work without a flaw, and he would be able to take the throne with ease. Now in hiding, his confidence shaken, he wishes to abandon the plan, but his lover won't let him. [Reserved for Amy.]
The Lover: Angel, appears to be in her early twenties. She has seduced the crosser, and fooled him into believing she is a messenger from the gods. In truth, she is not, she simply seeks to gain the throne for herself. She sees the crosser as nothing more than her toy and her pawn-once her place on the throne as his queen is secured and she has grown bored of him as a lover, she will dispose of him.
Prince of Arcus: An elf, early twenties. The prince of Arcus was trained to be a great warrior since he was young. Losing his mother and being unable to protect his home has left him feeling like a failure. In order, to prove himself, she has set out to slay the beasts himself.
Princess of Arcus: An elf, late teens or early twenties. Highly emotional after the loss of her mother, the princess left home in a fit of rage upon learning that the king was offering up her as a bride to one of the beasts' slayers, joining her brother on his quest to destroy them. She is untrained in combat as the prince is, and is fearful that she has made a mistake in following him, but is too stubborn to return home.

The Beasts- The beasts will be controlled by an admin.
The Wyvern: Looking like a massive hybrid of an eagle and a snake, it possess a snake like body, with a set of large, feather wings. Its head is mostly snake-like, but its snout ends in a wickedly sharp beak. It is the most feared of all the beasts, as it can become invisible and intangible, and is able to spit venom. It is the one responsible for the Queen's death. It is, roughly, 40 feet in length.
The Rhinus The Rhinus resembles a giant rhinoceros, although its horns are blunt and rounded. It is ridiculously fast for such a massive creature, and flames cover its thick, armored skin as it runs. It has a body length of about 13 feet and stands 8 feet tall at the shoulder.
The Ursolf The Ursolf resembles a a giant kodiak bear with a wolf-like head and tail; at least, it does most of the time. It is able, however, to cast illusions around itself as a form of camouflage. It is also able to make smaller illusions appear around it, which often take the form of the fears of any people attacking it. It stands about 9.5 feet tall at the shoulder and 16 feet tall on its hind legs.
