Twins receive: Ivan Nova 13: $480K 14: ARB Rafael Furcal $1M (6M paid by STL)
Mets receive: Denard Span 13: $4.75M 14: $6.5M 15: $9M $3M off Span in 2013
Mets +0.27M Twins -0.27M
Mets accept this deal. We receive a nice fast speedy OF who will help generate the stats we need most. We lose a solid SP and starting SS but Span is a nice piece ad good OF depth. Good deal and good luck Twins

Approve 1. Both owners are seeking upgrades at various positions. Mets gets some speed and Twins gets a shortstop upgrade. And while Furcal is on the older side, his addition of Nova will really help in the wins category and is cheap. Not entirely sure why the extra $3 million was necessary, but not enough of an issue to warrant a veto. Nice deal for both.

Approve #2. Good deal to get a nice controllable OF that will give Mets alot of speed. Twins get a good pitcher as long as his injuries don't derail his career and a SS that especially in a 30 team league is valuable. I agree with Rays however about the money. Just seemed to make the deal too complicated but not enough to veto.

Approve, Twins gets some nice SP depth which is something he could use. Furcal gives him a stopgap measure at SS for the time being. Mets gets Span who can help him compete this year. The money is an added bonus.
