Tonite the padres and dodgers have agreed upon a trade that will mutually benefit both clubs.
Padres receive Juan Uribe $7M (13) Corey Seager PP (LAD)
Dodgers receive Joe Thatcher (1.1M) ARB Mark Pope PP (SD)
Salary Padres: +$5.9M Dodgers: -$5.9M
Padres agree to this deal to help for the future and get a possible solid MI, who if he can rise up like his brother would be a nice addition. I do have to pay a lot of money for uribe, but the gain in talent will be worth the cost.

Dodgers LO confirms. We do this deal to use the extra funds for FA or just to fill our holes in general.

Approve#1 I like the Seager pickup for Padres. Has a chance to be better that his brother. It looks like he had to take Uribe to make the deal happen. Dodgers move 7M in salary so that helps alot too. Good deal especially since Padres can eat that salary of Uribe.
