Cleveland Receives: Jake Peavy 2013: $14,500,000 2014: $14,500,000 2015: $15,000,000
Dayan Viciedo 2013: $480,000
$3M for 2013
Chicago Receives: Shin-Soo Choo 2013: $7,900,000
Zach McAllister 2013: $480,000
Cleveland makes this deal trying to strengthen their starting rotation while also getting a young 3B/OF. We hate losing Shin-Soo Choo but we now make room for Starling Marte to have a starting OF spot. Cleveland accepts this deal! Nice dealing White Soxs!

White Sox are happy to announce they accept this trade allowing them to free up some cap room while still put a solid team on the field. It was a pleasure dealing with the Indians

Approve, Tom gets the SP he's been dying for awhile. He gets a decent replacement in Viciedo to replace Choo in his OF. Troy gets a very useful OF bat and he can replace Peavy in FA.

Approve 3. The three million in money needs specific designation, and I'm assuming it is going to peavy's contract this year. While choo is only signed for this year, he is a significant upgrade over Viciedo. Indians gets another pitcher for his staff. Like the sneaky Mcallister move, seems like he may get a shot in the rotation. Nice move for both clubs.

Appove. I like the McCallister side a little more, especially in the lond term. Cleveland does get their man which is always good.
