Division Rival Trade:
Mets and Braves have a mutual agreement on the following:
Mets get: 2013 ATL 2nd rounder
Braves get: Mike Leake 13: $2.9M projected (ARB)
Mets accept. Rubby De La Rosa looks ready to be called up, so Leake was expendable. We get a nice pick and save some cap in the process. Good deal and good luck Leake and the Braves.

The Braves accept. Although we are close to our salary cap, we are also close to a full roster. Leake also fits in with the Braves current pitching strategy. We have a ton of young, relatively cheap guys so as long as only a few of them have good years we will have a good pitching staff. Also, I'll take a current major leaguer that I like over a draft pick any day.

Approve #1. Good value for a SP. any healthy young SP should bring a 2ND, IMO.

Approve #2. Good trade in my eyes. Both GMs get what they want: Braves with SP depth and Mets with an additional pick to build his farm. Mets also save a little cap room so he can continue to search for help through free agency. Good luck to both teams.
