The Mets and Angels have a mutual agreement on the following:
Mets get: 2013 3rd LAA 2014 2nd LAA
Angels get: Frank Fransisco $6.5M
We accept. This deal gets us extra cap space and we already have Boggs for holds and Rivera for saves. Thanks and good dealing Angels

Approve #1. I think this may be a little much for Frank, but as of right now he is a closer so I can't argue the return. Mets get some cap space to go after another FA and a couple of nice picks to boot. Good deal to both.

Approve, this is a bit much for an injured aging RP, but one who has decent value in a league this size with a grip although somewhat loose on the closing job in Queens. The price was high, but its a simple pick and cap space deal for veteran type deal.

Approve #3. While I agree with the Trade Consultants that this may be expensive for Francisco, the Angels are clearly making moves to have the best bullpen in the league. He will have 4 closers and looking to wrap up the saves category each week. He has also made it clear that draft picks and prospects are not part of his plan. Nice deal for Mets to clear a roster spot.
