The Cincinnati Reds and Miamia Marlins have agreed to the following trade
CIN Trades:
Chris Withrow LAD 100K Matt Purke WAS 100K
MIA Sends:
Henderson Alvarez (3) $400K
CIN -200K MIA +200K
We do this trade to clear out some young pitching specs and get a young SP in Alvarez who has a change of scenery and hopefully can improve as he is still only 22: Thanks MIA for the smooth talks and Good Luck

The Marlins make this move to continue adding depth to there minors Sp farm system & with them looking forward to a bright future. Trading Alvarez was a decision that took thinking & the Gm those not believe Alvarez will live up to the hype ever! So accept

Approve#1. Nothing fancy here. A couple of decent prospects for basically another better prospect. Alverez needs to improve his K PER 9 to be fantasy relevant but at 22Years old, he has time. Good oveerall trade.

Approve #2. While change-of-scenery is bound help Alvarez, he still isn't anything special, a #4 or 5 starter at best. 2 decent B grade prosepcts for him is a fair deal. This deal is similar to the Rays/Angels deal with Davis/Maronde/Skole. Good value for both Reds & Marlins.
