The Pirates and Reds have agreed upon a trade tonight.
The Pirates trade Aaron Hicks
The Reds trade Sammy Solis Yordany Ventura
The Pirates agree to this trade because we are in the process of rearranging our prospects. We have an assortment of OF prospects and felt Hicks was movable and we get 2 nice pitchers in return. We believe Ventura is the key to this deal but that both could be #2-3 starters. That is valuable. Although Solis is blocked in Washington at the moment, He could be moved at any moment.

We deal from our still plethora of Pitching Prospects to get a OF Prospect in Hicks who could be up in Bigs in no time. We basically liked the swap of 2 nice Pitching specs for a nice position spec..Good Luck to PIT

Approve 1. Straight forward deal. Both teams are seeking specific prospect depth for their farm system. While hicks is close to majors, Ventura could be the key to this deal. He has a lot of room to develop. Nice move for both squads.

Approve, Frank is at it again dealing from his excess of P specs to add a nice OF spec for the future.
