Cubs receive: SS Jean Segura $480,000 2B Logan Forsythe $481,000
Padres receive: RHP Kyle Crick $100,000
I do this trade because I fell segura will end up being an above average shortstop and Forsythe could end up being decent. I love Crick but he also has tons of risk

I accept and think crick will crack the top 50 next year and could be a #2. Segura and forsythe are a little old for my plan.

I like the Cubs side of this trade. To get Segura and Forsythe for a good spec who may end up being special. I usually like the hitting specs over pitching just because of injury risk, but this trade should work for both sides. Approve #1.

approve #2. Segura fetched a bigger prospect package on Proboards, but Padres does love Crick. And I personally think Crick will be a monster. Cubs continue to build his MLB team with a young shortstop and a bench player.

Approve, this is basically Segura for Crick. Forsythe will probably never be useful. It's a decent swap for midtier specs.
