The Pirates trade Logan Ondrusek ARB. The O's trade SP Jake Arrieta $485,500
The Pirates make this trade because we really like Jake Arrieta. His stuff is really good, and he is still young. We will help us establish our rotation. We like the flip from a RP to a SP and even saving money too. Thanks O's and good luck to your team.

Trade confirmed. Like Arrieta, but last year was painful to watch. And this helps further solidify my bullpen, which is gettin better and better. Good luck to both teams!

Approve #1. Both teams are swapping strengths/needs. Orioles strengthens his bullpen by dealing an inconsistent pitcher. Pirates is taking a risk on a once promising player who is young enough to turn it around. I like the deal for both.
