The Atlanta Braves and the Baltimore Orioles have agreed to the following trade:
Braves get: L.J. Hoes
Orioles get: Carlos Gomez
Salary Implications: Braves free up $4,200,000 in space; O's incur $4,200,000
Braves reasoning: Would have loved to keep Gomez, but he was not a starter and we already have Gardner as a backup OF. Also, some arb results had me over my salary cap so I needed to cut into that.

Power and speed, baby! A lethal combination. Solidifies my non-pitching lineup! Good luck to both teams!

approve 1. I'm fine with this deal. Braves frees up salary for an expensive bench bat while acquiring a decent prospect. Orioles needed a player like Gomez for his starting lineup. Straight forward deal in my opinion. Good luck to both.

Approve #2. Decent minor deal. Braves moved an expensive bench bat. I don't see anything bad about this deal.
