I think BorDr doesn't think before he builds. You do know how that lighthouse blinker works right? a redstone clock, and a fast one at that. I can say that i think BorDr has built several clocks already and currently has them functioning, because I have noticed a steep decline in FPS on this server that start a day after BorDr returned. When i built that light house, I was well aware of the glowstone blinker but was reluctant to use it, for fear of lag. I can tell you right now, when he fires that thing up, there will be trouble. I think it should be gotten rid of and the old light house restored. Clocks are fatal to this server, it doesn't exactly have the best hardware. |

As I have not personally seen the effects of redstone clocks, or even seen one of these clocks at all, I cannot vote on this matter. I would, however, like to know how to make one so I may test it on singleplayer and see for myself what it can do. If someone could PM with instructions, it would be appreciated. |

I'm afraid I have to agree with Krem. We just can't have clocks that fast. However, to be perfectly honest, Krem, I never liked the design of the old lighthouse. We should build a lighthouse, plan it out carefully and make it as bad ass as everything else in Egypt. Krem, since you're lead architect, draw up some sketches and send them to Trompe, Crafter and I for approval. Also, on a related note, please do not create any large projects or greatly edit any existing projects without consulting the Pharaoh, an Ibi, or the lead civilian (krem) or military (chocobo) architects first. Thank you. |
