Wasn't sure where to put this so i'm gonna leave it here. http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/egyptian-barracks/ I have attempted to make a new barracks for our new city. That looks very well laid out, Krem. Just a thought, two obelisks on either side of the main gate would look pretty beast, I think. As for your layout, it reminds me of the Imperial City from Oblivion. Just remember that you'll either have to flatten out a massive area for the city or compensate for the changes in elevation. Some of the plots seem a little too small. The plots for the temples are definitely too small. Also, if someone does want to build a tavern in the market district (and I think we should have one) they would also need a plot larger than the ones provided. Also, have you considered how many chunks this will take up and checked it against our power? Make sure you factor in the potential decline in active members, as that tends to happen after a restart. Also, it would be a good idea to shape out a plan for the main gatehouse as well. |

Right now we have around 27 members i think, how many did we lose after the last reset? as far as lot size goes what would you recommend? BTW when did you become a demigod? does is mean you are leaving Egypt? One idea i had was instead of one big city, several smaller ones scattered (well not scattered but you get what im saying) around the desert. One would be the capital city of Memphis, while the other would all be named after ancient Egyptian cities.

Well there are 2 options. We make Egypt 1 big self-sufficient city. Or we do what Krem suggested and have Egypt be the central hub for housing and whatnot and have little towns a bit away for farming,mining, etc. Connected via minecarts. |
