HELLO! Just writing to say that I've decided to return to Aswein!! Nothing really compares to this server in terms of RP or community spirit, and I was wrong to ever leave. My Aswein Reborn app has just been accepted and I just wanted to check and see if people who have been in egypt previously still need to fill out an app. My original app can be found here I've got a new background to account for my departure from the server (this is just an excerpt from my minecraft forums app): In the time long before the floods, Tepthis-Ra was a liked and productive member of Egypt's priesthood. Before this he had spent time as a scout under many generals, but left this path of war after a failed coup following the death of Conquer I, first pharaoh of Egypt. Under the reign of the Priest-Regent Nekhtetra and the rise of Pharaoh Ghost, Tepthis devoted his life to the priestly ways, helping the people and building temples devoted to the Hermit. He kept morale high during the tense periods between the fallen kingdom of Japan and mighty Greece, and believed that life was truly great. Until the Vision. One night, alone in the undercroft of the Grand Temple of the hermit, Tepthis-Ra received divine insight. He saw an image of Aswein asunder, wracked by endless war and the hatred of the Gods. Egypt had fallen and its people left to kill each other in an orgy of anger. Disturbed by what he saw, Tepthis-Ra fled to the seat of the Pharaoh and confided in Lord Ghost. Little is known about what was said at tht golden throne but what happened next was a turning point in Tepthis-Ra's life. Under the cover of darkness, while lightning danced on Gerion's Pyramid, Tepthis slipped away into the desert. He wandered for months, seeking some meaning to his vision. Some claimed to have seen him return to the walls of Men-Nefer, skulking in back alleys. Heartened by these fleeting glimpses, Tepthis's friends kept his townhouse clean and ready for his return. But return he did not... Until the flood. No-one knows exactly how Tepthis survived the holy maelstrom by himself on the dunes. Some say it was divine intervention from the Hermit, taking pity on his disciple. But survive he did. Tepthis-Ra no longer holds the gods in such high awe that he did before the flood. He sees them as great beings to be respected, yes, but not revered. Not after what happened. Other than that, just here to say it'll be great playing with you guys again! P.S. Hi Trompe! For the gods sake, I rember Aswein 1. A time where people (Which I was a part of back the) Respected the gods. Now they run up to us and say things like: "Hi Lolz, you dumb evil god" of course i respond by hammering them in the face but please! for the love of god, if you see Sem you dont say hello. You go down on your knees and beg. ......Panda, you are the worst of them (no hate).....Hugging the god of death and suffering... Ask youself, would you hug a real god? |
