After all the pieces of the Teeter-Totter were disposed of, the giveaway
cars were lined up in front of the shop prior to beginning the raffle.

The starting time of the raffle was announced over the K&J Public Address
System as spectators and raffle ticket holders began to trickle over to the podium.
The Mayor of Mizpah will preside over the proceedings and "Miss Mays Landing"
will pick the winning tickets.

In a last minute development, Clare Gilbert has announced that he is donating
a kit version of his '41 Willys. He's also throwing in a set of mag wheels, just
like the ones used on the Blue Willys that's here at the Kruize.
So, in addition to all our other great giveaway prizes, some lucky Kruizer will
soon be going home with a wonderful Willys. Thanks, Clare.

While we're waiting for the crowd to assemble, let's take one more look at
the line-up of Giveway cars:

From L to R: David King's restored "T" roadster pickup; Merc's Dirty
Bird dirt track racer and his '55 Chevy; Sully's Surf Wagon and '70 GTO musclecar;
Chris Gottschlich's heavy duty Chevey stakebody.

The Mays Landing Jamboree Band was back for the drawing, after leaving to
do a 1/2-day gig at the Grand Opening of the Egg Harbor City "Super-WaWa"
(for you out-of-towners, "Super WaWa"s sell gas)

Lou was up in his balloon taking some fantastic aerial shots as Miss Mays Landing began the drawing.
