Okay I'll play along this month. Better be sitting down as it's a 1/25th scale build.  Back in high school, my best friend had a 64 Chevy Impala. He always wanted to paint it Candy Root Beer. Never got around to doing it, as $1.95 hour didn't buy much paint time back then. So I built this for him as a birthday gift. Color is HOK Candy Pagan Gold base, with Candy Root Beer over it. The roof is Testors Light Ivory, and the interior is Antique White. He always loved root beer floats, so this is what I tried to achieve with this color combo.    Think he will like it? |
