thats a cool idea Jim!!............D.H.S. (davetown historical society) restoring some old homes! fantastic idea. we have a historical society here, but they really dont do much, theres no money for them to restore stuff here, honestly most of it should be torn down!! check out my "decaying brownsville" thread and you`ll see what i mean.............

It's a shame when old towns are aloud to decay. Here in my home town of San Pedro, CA. witch is part of the city of Los Angeles, we are seeing the samething. Along the water front is being redeveloped because the property belongs to the Harbor Dept. but go inland everything looks run down.
