Satan's Stude' Fruit '53 Studebaker with something a little different under the bonnet. Gotta love this kit (apart from maybe the interior detail).

That right 9 years ago. I had to stop building it because we were moving to TN from FL. I packed it up and just never looked at it again. I almost never build a model the way it should be built and this one was no different. Hope you like. I just love engines. They are my favorite part of the model to build..

Copenhagen Blue metallic, white stripes. Flocked interior, plug wires, fuel line, and vacuum advance, most of which is now NOT visible, oh well! Also my first time making my own vanity plates. Cut down some of the exhaust and tips to make them sit better. Thanks for lookin'!

Newbie Posts: 15 Group: Members Member #1,017 Joined: July 24, 2008	Ok, I'll play this month. I usually dont build drag car, mostly circle track cars. But I do love a 1950 Mercury. Well, here she is. A resin body from Ebay that took way too much work. Lots of photo-etch,lots of aluminum and lots of wire. Decals are from Dave Van,awesome decals Dave.This is my first detail build of a drag car and the Mercurys have always been a favorite.
