Purple suede would look good. Are you gonna rat it out or make a project under construction?

aaawwwww quit youre cryin` !! ;)

ok i got the front suspension down as low as possible without having to hack out fenderwells.....if it were real, the bottom of the fender would be less than 6 inches from the ground, and the frame rails less than three inches....so its pretty low, the tires are pretty large tho, so that makes it look higher......

i added some metal springs, and made drop spindles.......

now its on to the rear suspension........

You, buddy, that looks great. A couple of the rust spots look more like paint splats . . .but that's easy to fix . . . I think this ride is going to look very cool.

Your ride is coming along nicely Bryan........got a question about a technique you used awhile back, your chassis pic reminded me of it...........remember the railroad cars you bought for your dio, one of them was a box car. You put a real nice looking rust on it using water sprinkled on the paint I think it was. If ya get a chance could you describe that again, I really liked the way that turned out...thanks

sure danny...........i actually learned that technique from armyofchuckness.....just spray on some redoxide primer.....mist it with some water, and then shoot on some black......you can let it dry like that, or what i do is force it dry with a hairdrier, and then hit it with a tooth brush, and all the little bubbles the water made in the paint, will now be pock marks.....

i think chuck lets his dry......chuck, you wanna chime in here?? this is your technique buddy.......
thanks

Bryan
