I'll start the ball rolling shall I?
This is The Dustball 500.
AMT Fireball 500 body on AMT '71 Duster Chassis. Engine is the 340 from the Duster with the Fireball Hemi heads and the Street Machine Duster twin throttlebody EFI induction. Scratch built ram air through Duster scoops.
In my head it's an all aluminium engine with radial 4 valve heads for true hemispherical combustion chambers.
Wheels & tyres are from the AMT '41 Ford Woody.
Rear suspension is a scratchbuilt IRS based around a Dana centre.
Sidepipes would contain remotely adjustable baffles to allow the driver to adjust the soundtrack from whisper mode to full noise.

This is my idea of what a '55 Chevy Pickup should be. What do you think. More of it @:

Well I just finished this one last weekend so i guess I'll go ahead and enter it for January MOM. Its a 39 Ford standard coupe built from a Revell 40 ford standard coupe. I had to scratchbuild the grille , headlights and tailights because they are different. The wheels are from Fred's resin shop because the wheels in the kit are not accurate. The model depicts a real car that was raced back in 1941 before Nascar was even started.
