Very happy to join up with a swell bunch of guys,and share a fabulous hobby.I have built 1:24 th scale models off and on for most of the last 50 years. My first model I ever built was the Green Hornet street rod when it was first released. OUCH ! Anyway, I am currently experimenting with different size flake shot through an airbrush,and the different effects you will get with silver and gold flake bases under different Kandy Kolors. Oh yea, its fun, and takes my mind off the doom and gloom on the tv news lately. Im still learning all the time,and hope to help out any of my fellow modelers as well !

Advanced Member In The Hat Posts: 2,143 Group: Members Member #386 Joined: August 20, 2006	Hi Ed. Welcome to the forum. I did some experimenting with metal flake too. I found its easier to get it in a spray can than to mix it and spray it through an airbrush. Took me a while to get the flakes out of the tip. If you figure it out lets see some pictures.
